  • I think the answer to this is to make more community colleges offer four year degrees. They are mainly funded through property taxes just like grade school and the professors get paid just fine. $300 per class is a reasonable fee for students.

  • I like it, it’s not getting great reviews though. It is the kind of thing that makes you think, Maybe I should have read the book first? I think there are 11 books, including prequels that came later.

    It’s visually stunning and I like the story. It’s surprisingly gender balanced for a book written in the 40s.

    It’s hard to find a good pick of the dress, but this is the best I could do. It’s a Roman style breast plate with an empire (ha ha) waist full length dress, all in cobalt blue.
