Sometimes I don't think Google even care about Android car experience at all, even Google Maps somehow always bugs out at the most inconvenient times when you are driving.
Actors are people who exists outside of their work with their own hobbies and interests. Paul Rudd is getting paid to dress up and play Ant-Man only at his job, so he can dress up and play whomever he wants on his own time. (especially Weird Al)
Besides, if he actually dressed up as Ant-Man, everyone is just going to think he is a Paul Rudd impersonator anyways.
Little correction here, Musk proposed the pie in the sky Hyperloop idea to stop the California High Speed Rail from being built.
If you are ever in LA, you should drive by the sad looking Hyperloop prototype next to SpaceX headquarters in Hawthorne (don't get out of the car, not a safe area) and you will immediately see how ridiculous the entire Hyperloop idea is.
For as much of a genius that he thinks he is, why didn't he do literally nothing after he comes on board and watch how twitter functions first before he starts firing people? Wouldn't you want hire more people instead if you want to implement new features for the super app he is dreaming of?
Hey, if this level of decision making is all it takes to become a tech CEO, maybe I should become a tech CEO if this acting thing doesn't work out for some reason. Seems pretty easy.
Looks like somebody is so desperate for any kind of celebrity engagement they are willing to work with a shithead like Andrew Tate, eh?
Also, for future celebs trying to promote projects on Lemmy: I got here first, Lemonworld is MY turf, Margot Robbie and her awesome movies are the only allowed commercial interest here.
She wrote this in 2010, when he was still at the peak of his popularity and made his cameo in Iron Man, and this article did little to his public image.
Turns out he was just really good at taking credit for other people's work and the mask finally started slipping.
While getting more women interested in natural science and tech is an important issue, the current approach in the States isn't working, and one of the major point in you-know-what is that despite the aggressive, well-intentioned push of female representation in traditional male dominated industries in fictional media(it does go too far sometimes), it does not seem to translate into the real world, ans enforcing a female only job fair also seems also well intentioned but unhelpful, because ultimately, you can't force people to like something.
It's troubling, but there doesn't seem to be an easy solution to this.
We should all know that Netflix's method of "throwing money at the wall and hope one of the shows becomes a hit, cancel immediately after a season if it doesn't work out" is completely unsustainable at this point, as this kind of dehumanizing disposablilty of production is the exact " industry disruptive" approach to expect from a bunch of arrogant Silicon Valley techbros, so this cost increase should not come as a surprise.
Many long running shows have had pretty bad first seasons, "Parks and Rec", the US version of "The Office", and "The Simpsons" comes to mind, and these shows would never have even gotten off the ground if Netflix was running them, because as with all industries, it takes a while for people to find their footing and get to know each other to work together effectively.
The real sad part is, the industry that has copied Netflix's "disruptive" approach are now finding out that the emperor has no clothes and are desperately trying to pass the cost off to anybody else for their own survival, which is why it is more important than ever to fight for the dignities of the people who worked on your favorite shows for your entertainment.
I see soy/oat/rice milk as their own thing, instead of a direct cow milk substitute/replacement.
There are many, many dairy product that are important as food or ingredients to other foods such as butter, yogurt, ice cream, cream, infant formula, and various cheeses that cannot be replaced directly by plant based alternatives.
And also, if you don't like milk, try getting one of those unhomoginized milk in glass bottles that's usually directly bottled by local farms. You have to shake a lot to get the cream on top dissolved again, but there is nothing that's quite like an ice cold cup of that.
