  • The cultural content, particularly that set during the cultural revolution is interesting. It's the sci fi bits that I'm finding kind of blah.

  • The Three-Body Problem. It's okay but I'm having trouble understanding why it got so much acclaim.

  • It's so good and interestingly, based loosely on the true story of double agent Kim Philby. Le Carre worked for British intelligence which really gives the book a lot of authenticity.

  • I'm Gen-X and showed my Gen Z kids Better off Dead recently. They quite liked it. I think it's just so goofy anyone could enjoy it. I DON'T think they'd like Ferris Bueller's Day Off - too talky.

  • The burbs! It's the best some of us can do.
