  • Yes, it but doesn't integrate into qBittorrent like Jackett does. Jackett is more for manual searching, prowlarr integrates better with other *arr services.

  • What do you think of social democracy (e.g nordic model)? Capitalist at its core but with influences from socialism that results in a strong social net, free healthcare, public housing, and the like.

  • You don't need to, you can access communities on other instances via the account you already have

Just append the instance name to the URL, w.g https://lemmy.world/c/news@lemmy.ml

Notice the "@lemmy.ml" part? That means I'm navigating to the news community on the lemmy.ml instance.

There are extensions that'll make sure you're always on your home instance

  • Copying an older comment of mine,

Download qBittorrent. Download Jackett. Configure Jackett to work inside qBittorrent. You now have a way to search hundreds of trackers all at once within seconds and find literally anything you want.

  • Mind sharing the script?

  • Just block the bots. Keep the ones that generate a decent amount of conversation.

  • You can disable Brave ads and tracking pretty easy. A lot of the crypto stuff can be disabled too.

  • I've used them since 2016. I really doubt anyone has gotten banned for anything other than using plugins that spam the API or access experimental features you're not meant to have.

The risk is yours to take though so, fair enough.

  • Kind of, some of the apps display it but it's hidden on the website.

  • It would've been because you used a plugin that spammed the api

  • This has only ever happened because of plugins that hammer the api

  • This isn't really true, Lemmy does keep track of the amount of upvotes you get some of the mobile apps display it.

The total is just not displayed on the websites.

  • Pope Francis last week called on Italy's mafia groups to 'stop doing evil'. Photograph: AGF srl/Rex

  • The source is Demoskopika, an Italian research group. I haven't looked at the actual paper itself though

  • You'll see similar results on literally any link aggregator app. It's not the app itself that's tracking you...

Just block the tracking and boom, problem solved.

  • The advantage is you get to use Matrix.

But most servers are not going to install a bridge, so.

  • Worth noting that Aliucord relies on a very outdated version of Discord. Vendetta is worth using if you want the newer features to work well
