There's disinformation all over the internet, I block it and get on with my life.

They suggested to me that I block their community but I will not because that is how you get a cesspit of an instance

Who cares? Just block it and carry on as normal. What other people do doesn't effect your enjoyment of lemmy at all.

Better yet, curate your own homefeed with subscriptions.

It is, but it's the type of thing you pop in every now and then and place a pixel, and look at all the updated art that has occurred in the meantime. Everyone's using the same canvas.

That's why Mastodon is 'dead' to you. I never liked Twitter or used it much, and Mastodon just doesn't work for me either.

I bought my phone for £150 and it's great. I don't understand why people spend £600+ on a phone.
