Yep, using "Top" or "Hot" comment sorting (your default can be changed in the settings) results in comment orders being all borked. Just sort by New for now.

Discord is a closed garden, it's awful for things like this.

This can be deceiving for link aggregator apps, because it'll also pick up trackers that other sites are using, and not the app itself.

Yep, but you still see a big ass block where the ad would be, which isn't the case in any other Lemmy app.
