  • works fine for me, the TOR site is up too

  • My custom URL works fine for me. Zlibrary never went down really, there were always alternative ways to access the site and that still stands. The TOR site is still up and running too.

  • I really think it's the language thing. I've tried reposting without selecting the language using the same title and it works fine.

my assumption is that maybe the community already has a default set language applied to all posts, so if you try to select it yourself Lemmy gets confused and stuck. IDK though

  • I feel like it tends to happen most often when I select the Language versus just leaving it as unchosen

  • Most discourse about this is from Americans. I've never used a VPN to torrent and it's never been a problem

  • Streamable is decent

  • Jackett isn't automated, it's just a search tool. You can open any search result in-browser if you wish to double check it. I do it all the time

  • It appears to be seedbox compatible. I don't use a seedbox though so I can't help you there :)

  • I doubt you can find anything equivalent on mobile.

I don't torrent audiobooks often, but on the rare occasion that I have I've used Jackett to find them. with the right trackers, you can find anything.

  • Nvidia Shield TV Pro is the best option available imo. Pricy though.

  • Any line starting with 0.0.0.0 will automatically “fail” to find the page. For instance, 0.0.0.0 www.whatever.com will completely block that domain. It won’t block www.whatever.co.uk or whatever.com, so you’ll have to add one line for each top level domain. It’s great for blocking the worst ad networks (the ones that leave 6 clickjacks per page) 11

Pi-hole is worth looking into if you're into this

  • You can change your instance in Jerboa (and in all the Lemmy apps) fairly easily. I recommend retrying it, because it's one of the best Lemmy apps available atm.

and yes, sh.itjust.works does indeed work in Jerboa!

  • looks like you're sorted then?

  • Play the smaller modes (64v64/30v30). They feel very different and you have room to play well versus just jumping into a meat grinder.

  • I felt the same so I started playing on the smaller modes (64v64/32v32). They feel a lot different and are way more fun.
