I mean... You can use an emulator and upscale the resolution. It's not a "remake", but after the GTA remake fiasco, I'm not sure anybody wants more of that.
I've been playing the Mario RPG remake. I remember loving the game as the kid, but as I get to each part of the game I'm like "Damnit, I hate this level!", and it happens over and over again and I'm like "wait, why do I like this game? I hate this game."
With that said I'm still playing it because I'm almost done with it so I may as well finish it.
It's easier than I remember, but I also played the original when I was like 10 years old, so maybe it used to be more difficult because I wasn't as good at video games when I was 10.
I'm excited to finish it because I have an OLED Steam Deck on the way, and I'm trying to sort out what I'm going to play first. Any suggestions for controller friendly games that run well on the deck? I think Dave the Diver is near the top of that list. I'm not to keen on playing first person shooters with joysticks, that's what my PC is for.
Horizon Zero Dawn would be great, never got around to playing those games.
This year has been quite the ride, I started a new job and I've really loved it. It can be a lot of work sometimes, but it's work that I enjoy, so the days sometimes just flash by which is great. As far as gaming goes, I played a lot on my Switch this year. I sunk nearly 200 hours into Tears of the Kingdom. I'm a huge Zelda fan, so I tried to milk it as long as I could before getting the credits to roll.
From my understanding trolling meant exactly what it says it is: Trolling. I think people for some reason get this mixed up with trolls - as in the fantasy type monster. But I think it actually has to do with the fishing termtrolling where you cast out your line, and see if you can get somebody to take the bait. Once they take the bait, you take em for a ride.
I think this explains it right here. As another commenter said "more fear than anything else". Animals act very differently than humans when they are scared, they often get very aggressive. Anecdotally, when I was younger my loving smush of a dog got hit by a car and I ran over to her and she bit the shit out of me. She was scared for her life, and that's just how her brain was wired to react.
And just so I don't leave anybody feeling awful, she made it to the vet, needed a pin in her hip, and her tail was amputated, but she went on to live to the ripe old age of 15. My bites weren't too bad because she was a small dog. No stitches needed, but I have some tiny scars left if you look really close
But if you want to feel angry about the situation, it was a cop car that she was hit by which was flying down a residential street, and the cop yelled at me and my mother and threatened to give us a ticket for having a dog off the leash. And thus my hatred for police began at the age of 10.
Like that time John Brennan the, director of the CIA literally said "We're all aware of executive order 12333. That order prohibits the CIA from engaging in domestic spying and searches of US citizens within our borders." and then Edward Snowden dropped a huge truth bomb and revealed that they were indeed drag netting information on anybody and everybody including innocent US citizens?
Yeah... There's no way they would do something like that again, right?
I actually reached out to my father to ask about this because the machanic was a buddy of his so I thought he might have some info. It was indeed a vac system issue.
I also live in a heavily salted area, so yeah. Rust did the body in before the engine went out. When you finally retire yours, make sure to pop the "Turbo Diesel" decal from the back of it. I still have mine sitting on a desk at my parents house. A nice memento of my many good years in that car.
Not sure but it's probably the same stuff they used in my college cafeteria. Sometimes the yellow cake with chocolate frosting had these crumbles on the top. It dawned on us, that the crumbles were just the cake from yesterday ground up and sprinkled on top. We called it "Yestercake"
Hah. I drove an '85 300D Turbo diesel in the early 2000s. That thing was a fucking tank. I had to eventually get rid of it because the body was rusting apart. The engine still ran, and likely would have until the end of time. I extended the life a bit by bolting metal rails under the seats to keep them from falling through the car into the road.
I had the issue with the engine still running when taking the key out as well. I would have to pop the hood and push on this kill switch thing in order to turn it off. My mechanic was able to fix it, I forget what the issue was though.
I fuck with hot gas station sandwiches. Like the ones they have wrapped in paper/foil in the little to-go heat lamp hut. Also anything from the hot roller. Like taquitoes or doom dogs as I call them. I like em extra dizzy and sweaty. Maybe with a packet of onion slime on em.
I survived on that stuff as a teen. You could get a pretty solid meal at the gas station for like $3. But this was also back when McDonald's had a dollar menu and you could get 2 mcdoubles and a drink for $3.
Can you share some instant pot meals/ideas? I got one and it barely gets used. Every time I look stuff up or ask peoole it's the same "crack chicken" recepies.
Mine is essentially a big power hungry medium boiled egg maker. Really wish it got more use.
