  • [Nigel is playing a soft piece on the piano]

    Marty DiBergi: It's very pretty.

Nigel Tufnel: Yeah, I've been fooling around with it for a few months.

Marty DiBergi: It's a bit of a departure from what you normally play.

Nigel Tufnel: It's part of a trilogy, a musical trilogy I'm working on in D minor which is the saddest of all keys, I find. People weep instantly when they hear it, and I don't know why.

    Marty DiBergi: It's very nice.

Nigel Tufnel: You know, just simple lines intertwining, you know, very much like - I'm really influenced by Mozart and Bach, and it's sort of in between those, really. It's like a Mach piece, really. It's sort of...

Marty DiBergi: What do you call this?

Nigel Tufnel: Well, this piece is called "Lick My Love Pump".

  • Politicians think countries only hold people. Those that are a bit smarter understand that there are wild animals living within political boarders. A population that’s a bit smarter knows that these animals move and migrate around and across the previously mentioned political boarders. So, can at least some of us agree that border walls fuck up migratory patterns and are bad for nature?

  • I live in Florida, we don’t deserve this money. I mean we, the people, totally do. But in this stupid DickSantis pissing contest with the “Woke Dems” my state and it’s people should unfortunately lose. Bold statement, I know. “But you’re an asshole for saying that!” No, I’m not. The majority voted this guy into power and so, we should suffer from his own “sleeping” (? He’s antiwoke, right?)?agenda.

Vote the assholes out of power!!!!

  • Glad church bells were the top comment... I grew up across the street from a church and I cannot say this loud enough FUCK CHURCH BELLS!! Ban them both, if you need to be called to pray or told what time it is buy a smartphone and set a reminder.

  • Fair, but do you really expect big pharma to allow that to happen? They will throw cash at every politician needed to crush it. The US should’ve stepped in years ago and slapped regulation upon regulation on these companies but politicians won’t bite the hand that feeds them

  • I hate how when someone gets elected for their first term, the first thing out of everyone’s mouth is: re-election. Bitch, how about you bust your ass for 4 years and everyone will be begging you to stay. Instead its, get elected, work on re-election campaign, build a library. It would be amazing to see my country finally live up to this whole American dream BS that’s been shoved down my throat since birth, yet the only people actually getting richer were already rich to begin with. We talk about $100k salaries like they’re gold yet Elon, Bezos and Bill Gates wipe their asses with larger bills than that. We need a government for the people of the people. Not a bunch of 1%ers mooching off us Poors and writing policies to their benefit distancing themselves and their families from further from the people they claim to represent

  • Super Mario Bros. A game that’s nearly as old as I am, that fully stands the test of time. From the very beginning of my gaming days, this and Duck Hunt got me into it. Dig Dug 2 was the first game I ever got angry enough to flip the tv the bird. Sonic and Tails probably was the second major influence on my life, from a video game perspective. After that I was a gamer and will never turn away from the cathode-ray light!

  • So the way he explained it to me was that essentially when the company was purchased all your accruals were reset and the pension was tied to years of service, which he hadn’t reached yet, then with the merger you were essentially a new employee. There was also a lot tied to retirement plans linked to corporate stocks that were basically useless after they merged. Either way, beyond working for the same company forever, his eggs were (mostly) in one basket.
