I would start drinking coffee a lot sooner. I've found that it has a remarkable effect on my cognitive ability (supposedly a common thing amongst ADHDers), and in 2014, I'd have benefitted massively from that.
Okay, so while you can't literally use nothing but the SSG for the entirety of Doom II (especially since you don't get it until MAP02), you can comfortably use it at least 90% of the time on UV. Shells are plentiful throughout the game.
Oh, nothing was missing. In fact, Galaxy's one of my absolute favourite games ever, and it feels fantastic.
I just personally feel 64 feels perfect, in ways that no other 3D platformer (let alone any 3D Mario) has matched. If I could try Galaxy with a regular controller, though, that might change things. (I know you can play it on Switch, but you still need to point at stuff, and it's not ideal)
Just wanted to add that OpenSUSE MicroOS uses Tumbleweed repos by default, so I'm fairly sure that's an atomic rolling release too. Not 100% sure, though.
I tend to agree, but it would be nice to play with the nice, rich visuals of Halo 2 Anniversary. And not have to look at Lord Hood's craggy visage or the slightly polygonal Marine heads.
Reach, on the other hand: no remaster would improve how that game looks. Still a stunning bit of work all these years later.
Might be worth trying to find a refurbished HP ProLiant MicroServer. There are a few on eBay UK within the £200-400 range. You can sometimes find professionally refurbished units as well.
