Nothing has to be perfect. It just has to work, and mostly work for the people. When it comes to laws, that is.
Now, let me understand you clearly. You still think that banning some silly little app, where probably in your opinion (since I take it you don’t use it for the “debatable” part) it’s just a bunch of people doing challenges or dancing or whatever silly shit you have in your mind of what’s on there, but you don’t seriously think there are just a little more important shit going on right now than some stupid app, who’s only authoritarian reach on me in the last 4 years is the stupid ads paid for by the shitty companies here in America, like KIDS being told that since they can’t afford to pay for their lunch, they don’t get to EAT!?
And you’re worried about a fucking APP?!
Holy. Fuck.
Let's not forget that once you get to 92
... You're halfway to 99!
And to just further point out, because it seems like you ignored the first three sentences of my post, you're fine with our government banding together for this singular app (lmfao) but NOT banding together to actually help the common people? What???
You don't think their priority should be the former, and THEN we can worry about this stupid fucking foreign app?
You ARE insane!
I completely disagree with your reasoning. As I have stated above, all that I've ever been shown is some funny videos sure, but MOSTLY average people like myself who are constantly fucked by those above us all and voice their opinions, freely, on the app. I finally have an app where people aren't posting pictures of their selves trying to pretend they're happy. I finally have an app where I can hear others who think about the systemic injustices constantly bombarding us in this digital era.
It's quite funny you say they got this one right, but they also allow censoring of our "news" stations here, and the content that is on american social medias. you do see that, right? So, it's okay in your eyes, for a foreign app to be banned, but no restrictions for the apps that american companies deploy that also have a narrative to push? you don't think this could've been a SWEEPING bill that includes ALL social medias? Why just this one? It has been proven that Russia and Chinese bot farms are swamping Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Why is this not something they care about? Truly, I want to hear this from you.
Why do you think they want to ban this ONE app? To prevent data from leaking out? What data homie? Millions of people crying out to each other that their system is rigged against them?
Are you insane?
EDIT: Since it seems like some people lost the plot of my comment, somehow…
TLDR: Government sector in USA has 81% of the people in charge agreeing to ban an app, while there are kids being told they are too poor to afford to eat at a building that is mandated by the government to be there.
People dying from overpriced medicine and care? Nothing we can do!
People starving from companies overpricing their shit quality food? Nothing we can do!
People paying more taxes than companies, while those same companies pay little to NO taxes, while raking in "record breaking profits!!!" Nothing we can do!
Some app that allows the people to talk to each other, and to band together, about how shitty our situation is? An app that allows people to voice their issues of our government, freely, while attaining thousands and millions of views with like-minded people who are also sick of their government fucking them every step they can? BAN IT! QUICKLY EVERYONE, BAN IT BEFORE THEY REALIZE WE'RE COMPLICIT WITH EACH OTHER IN CONSTANTLY FUCKING OVER THOSE STUPID PEASANTS!
Seriously, guys. Can you think of the last time we had 81% of our house actively working together to help the people? I sure can't.

Thank you for letting me know.
I probably came off strong, but I am majorly disappointed. This was one step closer to how other countries do their taxes, which is mostly just signing and sending it back. As it should be.
Hopefully we can get something before they shut it down, because I can see a LOT of people seeing that sketchy ID.me and noping out just like I did.

I was so excited to do this to show interest, and then they brought up the ID. Me.
Never heard of it, so I go and look.
You expect me to fucking sign up for some weird 3rd party bullshit, when I would be happy to do that with an actual fucking government supplied way of letting you know I’m the actual person filing my taxes?
No, man. Fuck that, and fuck your stupid ass way of handling it.
I had such high hopes for it, but with the embarrassment of ID.me I just went back to FreetaxUSA.
You can set containers to open every time you go to the website!
For example, I have a YouTube container, and every time I open YouTube, it opens in the container even if it was in a Nexus Mods container or anything like that. Once you have a website in view that you want to always open in a specific container, you can click at the very right side of the address/search bar, and it is an icon just like the containers icon. It says Always Open in or something like that. I hope that helps you streamline your containers! 😁
I love having features, that’s fine with me, but when their biggest “draws” are the tabs thing, then I am with you. Like, okay? How is the extension support? What does their privacy features look like? What does it do that makes my browsing more pleasant? Oh, just tabs tabs and more tabs…? Next!
Finally, someone who uses their browser like me! I keep my Firefox the same, and with containers, I still stay logged in, but don’t have to worry about cookies being left over.
Like you, I’ve never understood how people can handle having 10+ tabs open at once. I have my YouTube tab always up and ready to go, and the rest of the time it is a tab to search, open the link in new tab, and so on and so on. It gives me anxiety looking at the mess that some people have on their browsers! It’s the equivalent of having your entire desktop filled with shortcuts and folders!
Don’t get me wrong, I know more than my normal 5 tabs can be needed at times, I’ll put my own reasons below. But every single day? Closing the browser and having it load more than 5-10 tabs again every single time? No wonder people complain about Firefox being slow, their browsing habits cause it! 😂
The most tabs I’ve ever had open was only to download multiple mods off of nexus that looked cool back before they made Collections a god send. Now I don’t have to do that any more. 😁

God, yes! I see updates like this and just go, “Cool, moving on” because I have no idea what it does, and if you’re trying to get me to adopt your cool thing, I’m going to need more then what appears to be some random strings of words. 😅
Jesus Christ. If that motherfucker makes it to 2028 and still runs, I will sell every fucking thing I own and GTFO somehow and in some way. Their platform has been "We take your rights away so we can make your life miserable, and make profit at the same time!" and I absolutely fucking refuse to partake in this bullshit any longer because your average "American" refuses to read or accept reality.
Tell me you didn't actually experience 2016-2021 (where that's all that little wannabe dictator did lmao), and definitely did not watch the SoTU, without telling me.
Hey, Kadu! I was having the hardest time trying to find your comment on multiple apps after seeing it on the web version of Voyager. Now, after finding you, I can’t even DM you on any of the three that I use so I am resorting to commenting here in the hopes you’ll be able to see me and hopefully DM me the link for your zip! If you do see this, thank you so freaking much, and I and many other really appreciate you doing this solid! 😁
I would like everyone that has YouTube always signed in to log out and completely clean your cookies and website data, restart your browser, and go back to the home page of YouTube.
It is atrocious. This is what people who are new to YouTube will see, and it is very clear how not only adults but especially kids and teens will be fooled into either believing or reenacting the dumbest shit you see on there, or they’ll go further down the already steep cliff and be even worse off. It is, in my opinion at least, that there needs to be a moderation on the home page. Badly.
Genuinely, the world does not want to always take part in what you want. There are rules to society that most of us at least try to follow out of respect. Time and place to be surrounded by music. I’d definitely say on the bus or train is not the time or place. Agree?
Read this to the tune of Adventure Time opening. chefs kiss
Shit, if that’s the case, I would rather Stardew or No Man’s get it because THOSE games actually added and improved the whole game with each update!
And this is coming from someone who was able to play Cyberpunk at launch with minimal bugs and actually enjoyed it and still do!
I really don’t understand this take at all. He just seems like a straight up fool to me. Even if he was coerced into destroying Twitter, why do people seriously go, “Oh no! There is literally nowhere else to have these kinds of discussions or rallying!” When there are in fact PLENTY and could even be MADE for these kinds of situations? Look at the Fediverse for example, but why stop there? You’ve got other silly social media sites that can be used the same way if someone actually tried hard enough. If those don’t work out, you can always find a way IF you truly do care enough.
RuneScape to me is about having an easy enough game that you always have something to do on.
I’ve got a few 99s, but I still have plenty of others to do, and if I don’t want to do skilling, I can go do some of the plethora of quests I haven’t done yet. If I don’t want to do either of those, I can go find quite a lot of different things to do ranging from very easy to very difficult.
I’m sure most people stick around for the grind, but for me, it was always because there was SOMETHING for you to do. :)
