  • Ikr!

There was possibility to go to a sold out event a bit later and I just could make my mind up. So I had my own chill/metal party at home.

Reckon my liver and wallet will be happier tomorrow anyway!

  • As difficult as it is, it really is such good news. ๐Ÿ–ค

  • Yoga was definitely not what came to mindโ€ฆ ๐Ÿคฃ

  • Replaced the headlight globe and managed to order my one of my favourite cafรฉ lunches yesterday over the phone before I got there (the kitchen would have closed before I arrived).

Iโ€™ve been intermittent with my hayfever defence and I have been attacked. Ugh.

Butโ€ฆ as for today, I have done a load of laundry, started the trickle-charge on one bike, washed and put the side mirror back on the scooter, finished a lengthy phone call and am now at the hairdressers.

Of course, I always accomplish things other than what I should be. ๐Ÿ˜‚

  • I have now come to realise that it takes about 4 years of early mornings to ruin my usual sleep schedule. No matter how late I sleep, how tired/exhausted I am or whether itโ€™s a day off, unless Iโ€™m unusually unwell, I cannot sleep in the same way I used to.

This is an annoying revelation. Even napping, which I do very poorly, is worse now.

I need to find a way around this. I need more hours.

  • Thatโ€™s very kind of you. Iโ€™ve seen the time you put in, thank you for all youโ€™ve done.

  • I missed what happened. All I saw was that Baku has left and felt kind of sad at the gist of it, since not long ago I mentioned I enjoyed Bakuโ€™s posts.

Itโ€™s a funny thing. Reminds me of when I did a short stint at a community centre that had hydro and the morning regulars would notice if someone hadnโ€™t been for a while and someone else would always have some idea of how theyโ€™re doing and if they were okay.

I really do like our community here. While I sort of come in and out, or lurk more when I think I donโ€™t have much to say or am busy, itโ€™s a part of my life. Even if itโ€™s online. I refer to the DDT IRL, almost in the same way as regulars in the community. Not so much by specifics, but more, like oh yes, a few people mentioned theyโ€™ve been unwell or, someone had this experience, etc.

I guess since @Seagoon_@aussie.zoneโ€™s recent absence, itโ€™s just made me hope Baku is doing okay IRL. (I also donโ€™t mean to imply any pressure to return. Iโ€™ve been in enough online communities to see people come and go, thatโ€™s absolutely their right, but for those that contribute regularly, you notice when theyโ€™re gone.)

Shame on me. I should have known the typeface q and gone with gut on Euclid.

Nonetheless, all I do is guess!

  • โ€ฆ the pay hasnโ€™t increased either

Yeah, itโ€™s pretty gross. Pay for receptionists temping has been about the same for 20 years. Pay for informally trained people who are expected to know what to do in a healthcare setting if a patient codes can be less than $25.

What does $25 pay for these days?

  • Must have been a day for misfits. Blown headlight, almost ran out of fuel and came home too tired to bother going to a Halloween gig Iโ€™d already purchased entry to.

    Oh well, cโ€™est la vie.

    Todayโ€™s list so far:

    • Replace bulb
    • Escape chores once again

I finished with my Pyunkang Yul skincare and am now trying Purito. I did love the feel and texture of the former, but the Dermide range from Purito has helped my ridiculous dry spots in about 2 applications. I think the barrier cream is like the La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume, which I didnโ€™t use effectively. Weโ€™ll see how it all goes by the time I finish the Purito products.

    Happy Sunday, all.

Iโ€™d like my face not to resemble sandpaper.
