No evidence of antisemitic chant at pro-Palestinian Sydney protest, police find

  • Looks like it does do the thing Adobe claimed it wouldn't after all.

Still poor form from Nine for using it in the first place, and for not catching it in the editorial process. But seems this is just another reminder this week of the biases of generative models.

  • Housing costs, rental or purchase, are only resolved by supply and ending real estate's position as an investment vehicle.

That means large scale public housing investment to the point that it actively devalues property on a capital value bases. Rental yields are already a poor investment on their own. That leaves the "just park the money" crowd with a simple choice: sell now or watch it depreciate.

  • Something we're seeing in the closeness between those individuals and organisations vocally supporting said ethnonationalism and white supremacists. Be that Jonathan Greenblatt and the ADL and Musk in the US, or Avi Yemini and our various white supremacist and neo-nazi organisations right here in Melbourne.

"Ethnonationalist international" is quite the global phenomena at the moment. Up until they share a border anyway.

  • The senior officer – who can only be referred to as AB for 40 years due to a court order – was charged with high-range drink-driving before police announced the incident in November. His employment status is under review.

Well chosen court ordered pseudonym because "a bastard" really doesn't narrow it down.
