  • Yeah, I'm one of those people. I have this apparently strange sensitivity to people sharing intimate photos of others without their consent or knowledge. Feels very exploitative. I'm just one of those people who doesn't like to sit back and let people hurt others like that for the lols of a group chat.

  • If I see concerning behavior, I feel the need to say something because it's concerning. More girls will be embarrassed, more people could be exploited, it's not ok. I feel like seeing that, knowing you can do something, and choosing not to is pretty close to condoning it. It's not about friend group politics; there are people outside the friend group who are being passed around in that without their knowledge or consent, and that's not ok. I wouldn't care if it was just guys with dark memes.

  • Overly defensive? The comment they were responding to was offensive and made sweeping assumptions. But no problem there? Seems like a case of attack what you don't agree with and give what you agree with a pass. Comes across as a bad faith move.

  • "Let" is a strong word.

I mean what do you expect people to do? Honestly? If you use guns then the response will be massively violent. Have you seen how police here act during peaceful protests? The reality is a lot of people are just trying to survive and stay alive.

  • I mean facts were given and then someone wrote up a counter point just ignoring the facts and saying what they felt was right. Ironically seems like a boomer move and they were accurate in calling that out.

  • If, in my home me and my friends are sharing sensitive info about past relationships and other actions that can embarrass or hurt people, then exposing that is for the best. I mean where is the limit, if you're invited to a chat where they're massively racist and sexist, do you think that deserves to be exposed or do you just keep everyone's dirty secrets no matter what?

  • Because I don't want to play full price for a 1080p upscaled experience at 30fps. If it's a good experience then it will be worth the wait and that much better when it runs smoother, looks better, and loads faster. Plus it will have most of the bugs worked by then.

  • You're asking people to show kindness to their abusers. The people who voted for this have caused massive suffering. People have tried being the more mature ones, look where it got us. Those people are not interested in joining forces. The openly call us the enemy. Asking people to give them sympathy at this point is insulting.

  • Listen you can whine about tech or you can start building with it.

And by building, I mean telling it what it should do.

And by telling it what it should do, I mean typing out what you want.

And by telling it what you want, I mean explaining a crypto bro idea in a rant to Chat GPT.

I mean he's not technical but I'm sure he's really nailed this one.

  • My issue is honestly just the inconsistency of when spells would work or wouldn't. That and the fact that many dangerous situations could have been ended immediately if they used a spell they knew. I watched the movies and was yelling at the screen to use a certain spell to solve the situation but they just run away scared and helpless.

  • Well if none of them can have an adult conversation that happens. I've "debated" with them on here and it devolved into Twitter. Insults, grand claims with no evidence. Yes, we've created an echo chamber where you have to actually prove what you say, and they couldn't survive. I'm ok with that.
