  • I use firefox nightly. I don't mind the telemetry going to firefox. I know it's a bad thing... But still, if it helps them it's fine.

But performance wise, it's not bad. It's good enough. And with extension support rolling out soon, firefox might be really good.

  • Did you check whether the new IP assigned are any different. Once it happened that my old ISP had ip range 192.168.0.x. but the new ISP had ip range of 192.168.1.x

This made my machine not accessible.

  • I use a self hosted instance of Whoogle. It threw up an error a few days back. Got stuck in Google captcha(probably an IP issue). Now it has reset and it is smooth sailing.

Yeah, it is simply Google results, but I think it's fine...

  • Honestly what is wrong with 'just works'. If the policies behind the project and the security and privacy is all in place using this option is nothing wrong.

For linux to grow it needs to be more 'just works'. Let the complex stuff and simple stuff be there. It's not one or the other.

  • Windows 12 dev employee: what if ... what if... We break the taskbar into bits.

Wait wait wait.... I think we can uh... maybe just maybe not add bloat... Turns around to see the employer.... Gulp

Turns back to screen... Adding bloat is always the answer... Right boss?
