So Mexico is lying as well now then, that's not good. Because Mexico confirmed it from what we know right?

Sure, but we also need to re-define what we call/think of as plastic. When we think of plastic we think of fossil fuel based plastics right? We don't think of biodegradable, compostable, renewable plastics. Plastics made from corn starch and sugarcane exist with processes that can greatly reduce the carbon impact, while also reducing risks of micro plastics being in our water supply, blood, and well everything. Plastics can also be made from algea from what I've heard. So the idea that we need to shift what we are using I believe is 100% true, but that also means we need to do some research into what would be the least impactful, highest yield, best value (or we will never get support in this hellscape) to find replacements.

Glass can be reused near indefinite, but is heavy and uses a decent amount of energy input to remold it. That doesn't mean we shouldnt use it, it means we should, but for specific purposes. We need to get our governments and businesses to invest in research.... Somehow.

Yeah I know it uses waves towards the center but they are throughout the microwave, yet people don't questions the holes in the metal siding, which are metal circles. So if arcing was an issue on smooth sutfaces, it should happen there as well.

You mean like a spoon on a glass or ceramic plate? That seems unlikely.

There is even companies that make glass/stainless steel lids for their microwave safe containers. So the lids won't warp like the plastic ones do and have to be thrown away

Yeah the last 2 episodes of season one were great, the last episode of season 2 felt like a great climb and then just collapsed at the end I feel. Like they didn't know where they wanted to go and just put it on a character not knowing where they wanted to go as a cliff hanger

I'm lazy and don't use tik tok, but from what I've seen when my spouse is on there this would make an interesting tik tok channel (is that what they are called?). Spoon Spark, where someone collects a shit ton of spoons and people take their guess on whether or not they'll spark or even start a fire. Maybe get different power levels of microwaves to increase to throughout the tournament.

Comically enough, many spoons put in the microwave would be fine. Not recommending you try it, but the issue comes from arcs. And spoons don't have areas where arcs can occur naturally, like a fork.

Nah, this one makes complete sense if there were warrants out for his arrest in Mexico. We have extradition laws with Mexico (and most every other country in the Americas). Which is why we know most of these deportations are bologna. If someone actually had a warrant out for their arrest and was arrested for anything in the U.S. they would have been flagged for extradition when their ID was taken. If we couldn't correctly ID them, then there was no way for the U.S. to suddenly claim they had charges against them in another country. Any way you put it together, the executive branch is lying.

Less fuel use, Less waste. Requires more technological testing/improvements long term, but everyone is worried about people weaponizing higher enrichment uranium from an outside perspective.. I could be wrong

I wanted to make a joke about plug flow electricity because your in the UK I believe from what you said, but I don't know enough about it. Doesn't sound like it could supplement much energy in its current stages. I am curious to see if it ever makes any substantial amount in the next 10 years. (Right now it's so early they are talking only about a few LEDs sort of electricity)

If you haven't heard of it, it is a process of maximizing the use of air pockets created in catching falling water (rain) and allowing it to split in a way that can convert the kinetic energy of it essentially to about 10% electrical energy. Supposedily about 5x as effective as just letting the water fall on its own and turning it to mechanical energy. There's something about it that seems whimsical about it to me. Not sure why.

The point is if 97% of the energy is cheaper... Then you would have to pay more than coal for 3%. Which you could use any other form to supplement that, or just pay more for that 3% as the prices keep dropping and it will be below it soon. Countries use more than one source of energy. Whether you use a nuclear plant, hydro, geothermal, wind, or even gas/coal to supplement that 3% until it becomes cheaper (likely in the next 3 years).. and then we'll just burn off the extra energy in useful tasks hopefully. You could do anything with it. Shit hook it up the pumps and lift water up into towers and tell people if we have to much energy we need to burn off you'll get extra water pressure for your showers or something. Use it for desalinization of saltwater to send to areas in a drought. Can power the shipping to get it there as well. Idk, there's always something useful we need energy for.

(Note those numbers were just for Vegas though, so it could be 20% your trying to supplement for now)

Currently trying to lock up as many of the populace all the numbers show cause less crime. At some point we are going to have to question if there is a higher percentage of psychopaths out of prison than in.

Edit: note, a large group of people would say "we need to lock up more people to solve it" and a large group of people would say "we need to let out all the not-psychopaths who aren't a threat to society and then only arrest those who are a threat". And somehow both would think they were humane. And propoganda would role out to convince the first group they should lock up the second group. Because compassion or empathy is a threat

Most places I have lived in the U.S. have plazas, giant parking lots, with stores that loop around 2 sides into a corner for the most part. They aren't designed to be walked to. Bicycling to them is often tough as well. The mom and pops shops are mostly dead, so groceries, appliances, movies, whatever it is you are looking for are in Walmart, Target, Bestbuy, and other failing stores like Macy's, Dillard's, JCPenney, etc. all resteraunts are either surrounded by a parking lot, or in a plaza. Fast food is everywhere, and neighborhoods are miles from stores. The jurisdictions don't allow commercial propertys near many neighborhoods. Slowly we are seeing more mix, but it's a last 10 year change that I have noticed.

That's a good amount of states, at least 10 I'm sure. Parallel parking in the U.S. is rare. I remember my mother telling me in her late 50s she had never done it since her driving test back in 77. I used to do it when I'd go into cities but it is rare to find anywhere that requires it. Some vehicles are also so big here that if someone parallel parks a truck 5cm off the curb cars will have to drive into oncoming traffic to go around them. Thankfully places are starting to crack down on that.
