  • Low water pressure maybe? Mines a real cheap one and I've never had issues with not being clean after. I do usually get stronger toilet paper, but I only use a roll or two a month. I wouldn't say it's life changing, but I do prefer it. Also has saved me a lot on tp

  • Last time he didn't know he had to hire his staff, he knew nothing (it was an extreme embarrassment, possibly the biggest embarrassment I can think of, Huge really). This time the staff was pre-organized and gathered essentially by project 2025.

  • Israel has universal conscription last I knew and they don't seem to give a hoot about bombing everyone. I don't think mandatory military service makes them any less willing to go to war.

  • Hounding someone on something they don't agree with just makes them shut down a conversation.

Using something like that brings the bias to light without them ending the conversation. You cannot assist someone with seeing bias in media who just blocks you. While it sucks, sometimes small steps help getting you going in the right direction.

  • Was with you till the draft comment. I didn't think anyone should be drafted. If the people don't willingly enlist, either your cause is shit, or your benefits don't offset the risks.

  • A lot more than Republicans own guns in America. Only like 22% of America voted for Trump. Harris owns a gun, Biden owns a gun. It's a false narrative that people who don't support Trump don't own guns. Not to mention if you take out the 65+ crowd, Trump would have lost the election. 65+ year olds aren't much good at physical activities. Cut off the gas supply and MAGA implodes

  • How I pointed something out to a family member this morning.

When Israel attacks housing units in a country it is in a "ceasefire" with, the media says they are "threatening the ceasefire." If someone fires back. The media will say Israel is being attacked and the ceasefire was broken by the other party.

While that should seem wrong to many, it flies under the radar for many.

  • JD Vance said in the signal messages they don't know who the Houthis are. So surgical operations can't really exist unless they spot some equipment and can identify it's purpose as being an anti ship weapon.

Really they are just bombing innocents more than likely and hoping for I don't know what

  • Born in 89'. I've always hated PDF's. Hey, do you want to enlarge your file for sharing? NO!

But you can make it so only people with money can edit it? NO!

Well we'll let other people sign it for free, you just have to sit all of them down and teach them how to create a signature.

No, not that signature, that doesn't count legally. We need you to buy a security certificate and link it to it.

Can't I just create the cert on my computer?

Well yeah, but no one will accept it.

    Fuck off me!

  • Decent digital currency wouldnt use much electricity and would stop hyperinflation occuring in countries experiencing extreme issues. Being that taxes are standardly on income and sales, where is it you are saying they are dodging taxes? (Bitcoin isn't a good digital currency, but neither should a decent one be run by the country)

  • 76% of Republicans support a dictatorship is what it says.

Not only that, but the same document that was protecting the rights of the people being illegally deported, is what protects those Republicans rights as well. Free speech, press, arms, privacy, jury, fair trial, and more. 78% are saying they would wave their rights to a dictator. It's extremely short sighted

  • It's probably the choice I would have to go with, but when I was working with full boxes a lot, I started caring more about which pens were sturdy sharp enough to stab through tape and drag through it 50 times an hour and not end up looking at the end of your pen and find out the tip ripped off. Switching to a box knife over and over slows you down a lot and I needed the pen to cross out and document what was missing from the orders. Pens with caps are a pain for that as well, waste time.

I probably should have tried to find something like this: https://atechgo.com/products/multitool-pen-9-in-1-box-cutter?variant=31317899149448&srsltid=AfmBOorxxFa__k_qsBl8iPIi6kKPJc6A4Ah6nJ8WZ7gm3JZhWGj1qBZ_1AY

  • A pint in the U.S. is 16oz. What's a British pint?

For us it is 2 cups in a pint 2 pints in a quart 4 quarts in a gallon. (People seem to struggle with remembering that until you tell them quart as in quarter, or 4 in a dollar etc)

Weights are fucked, but I usually just remember 16oz is a pound. Only drug users and chemists remember 28 grams in an ounce. So an 8 ball (1/8th is 3.5 grams). And depending on where you are ranges from 110-240 dollars. So you go to the store and buy a bottle of liquor (sold in metric units, and the store owner will stupidly call it a half gallon) but it's 1.75L, 1L or 750ml for $20-30. And you'll pass out 2 days later super dehydrated upset you wasted all your money.
