  • The man in the ivory tower even says under the railgun heading that they are aware that one of the reasons the railgun is popular is because other anti-armor sucks.

Respectfully sir that's like the only reason. Your CEO said on Twitter that the ass of a charger is not a weak point, merely an unarmored point; well all the same I need my partner to get the charger to face the other way to hit its butt since I need multiple recoilless rounds to kill it.

  • Maybe my friends are too drunk but with the shield and the railgun we still get about three bile titans per breach and breaches retrigger regularly. With automatons it is easy for us to kite circularly, thereby reducing the number of patrols we drag in, but the speed of bugs leads us to back pedal across the map. If you care to share advice I would welcome it.

  • I rather disliked the whole 'your primary weapon is not supposed to be the weapon you primarily use'. Fine then rename them to small, medium, large or something instead of leading me to believe I should be able to kill a smaller horde without a Destroyer or Eagle.

  • My biggest complaint with R* games is that they refuse to let players leverage the open world to even a minor extent in their missions. I understand that restrictions are important to telling the story and can even nurture creativity but for as detailed the world and fairly deep their systems are their missions are quite dictatorial.

  • I would grant that even if the metrics were measured largely the same way you could argue or even observe that experience would be meaningfully different in some ways.

  • If you have hard water, look in to citric acid. Rinse aid alone still left my dishes cloudy no matter the quantity of detergent I tried. A bit of powdered citric acid leaves them shiny.

  • Because the US has several million more people living below a certain level of income, experiencing a daily misery but it's somewhat excusable because the ratio is smaller.

  • Morally I would say it depends on how much the legal aspect is valued. Legally (where applicable) you're supposed to use your own copy of the software to make the rom you use, ensuring you own both the hardware and the game.

  • There are a few apps that let you do motion shortcuts, the issue I've found with them is that for whatever reason the apps consume inordinate amounts of battery waiting for the motion while the Motorola implementation seems to have no real energy issue.

  • Can depend a bit on your carrier but yeah pretty close. Only issue is the security updates can be infrequent. I love Motorolas as work phones though, the twist motion to turn on the camera and the chop motion for the flashlight are super convenient for an IT guy doing lots of rummaging

  • Anyone have recommendations for an executive style chair with a high back? I assume the reason why I can't find them anywhere is a combination of them being a larger box by volume and something about ergonomics but I love reclining in a chair with a high slightly wide back that doesn't put all the weight onto my feet like 'racer' style chairs tend to do.
