  • Probably so, there are a few native Linux builds on Steam that don't have feature parity or segregate multiplayer for silly reasons. (Total War: Warhammer III for example uses an entirely different method to generate random numbers in the native Linux build so you need to use proton to play with 'friends' on Windows)

  • Nintendo doesn't want to use Hall for the same reason neither of the Steam Decks have, the increased power consumption. From there it was easy for them to justify a magnetic locking mechanism for the new joycons.

    But also fuck Nintendo

  • The first game was like RPG soul food. It didn't do anything new, the gameplay was fine and the story wasn't bad. Nothing innovative but nothing poorly executed. I think people should look to the game as explanation for why Nintendo doesn't make the 'normal Mario game' they want. Innovation is the simplest way to dress up a game, even if you like the loop it's healthier if the sequel is different.

  • Yeah they the Republican voter never see their obstacles as something to be resolved by policy or legislation. They just need an exception, everything works fine it's just the situation they found themselves in that is regrettable.

  • I much prefer this response over the typical "Came here to comment this.". You sound like that middle manager who does nothing for the company, always wakes up late but is a pleasure to deal with.

  • I think I remember reading about something like that. The label on the back said processed apricot pits or something like that. But now that you mention it I think there was headline about the seed material used in exfoliating gels of the time never actually being cellulose or anything biodegradable.

  • People say Irish spring smells like a urinal cake, but I really liked when they put ground up seeds in their bodywash. It was like the cheapest exfoliating gel at the time and the scent was great

  • The point isn't that capitalism is worse, but that it isn't any better. Despite all the fancy clothes and powdered wigs there is still a class oppressing another class except now the oppressors enjoy far fewer violent deaths.

At least a king had the decency to die several hundred feet behind the poor fucking levies in the same muck as them.

  • My dad does the same thing. If he has to run for smokes while I'm visiting he'll come back with a Zero bar. I rarely buy candy for myself and I would never get myself a Zero bar. They're perfectly fine but I'd probably go a Snicker's Almond or something like that.
