  • "Being illogical is when you consider one of history's most important users of logic a person that should probably be listened to."

  • Once again not really answering my question. Who do you consider a better authority that was living in the period?

If you have no better authority to offer this just amounts to an ideologically motivated dismissal.

  • The same people shitting on Einstein right now are also the same people that treat media as a political authority. I can't take it seriously at all.

Name a better authority that was alive in the period who I won't be able to show worshipped the nazis at some point.

  • Appreciate you actually bringing the views of the Taiwane folks into this btw. That’s something that gets left out far too often in these discussions.

What I care about most on the majority of issues is what people want. Despite the name of our system being "democracy" we don't usually tend to get what we want though, I don't think the majority of people want to start a war. Or want a child labour. Or want no healthcare. No rights. Blah blah blah. It would be nice if democracy produced democratic outcomes, rather than the outcome that most benefits one particular class.

  • Einstein is a jewish that lived through the Russian revolution and lived in Germany during the rise of Hitler before his escape to the US. As far as period accounts he's as good as you're gonna get, and I don't know about you but I don't think we're going to find a more intelligent person alive during that period but if you want to give examples that aren't nazis or people that said nice things about nazis I'm certainly open to them.

And he was an extremely active leftist politically during the period. You should read his essay, Why Socialism? It's a good introductory piece for people.

Also something of a smart man.

Page 14 of the 260 page FBI file on him states the following:

Not even Stalin himself is affiliated with so many anarcho-communist international groups to promote this "preliminary condition" of world revolution and ultimate anarchy, as Albert Einstein.

Those files are a fun read, do recommend them. Available on the FBI vault here.

  • They don't need to defeat any of those, because they won't fight. Much like nobody will fight Russia. Because it means ww3.

They will just continue to work on moving chip manufacturing elsewhere, they have that whole thing with moving TSMC to the US but there's so much racism that a lot of the high-skill workers that are essential to research and operations don't seem to want to move. If the US bothered addressing that it would go a lot smoother.

  • as well as the primary purpose that Hiroshima and Nagasaki were on the list of targets.

    No it fucking wasn't lmao.

The occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan were pointless.

"Were", maybe wanna check on that whole past tense thing because you're still there. Against the will of the people.

Pretending not to be in Syria while still being in Syria too... Stealing the oil.

  • I do not give a damn about your fantasy world war plans lmao. The notion that anyone "wins" afterwards is so blatantly absurd that it feels like I'm talking to a cartoon character.

  • That law was only written in 2005, what about the 50 years before it?

Either way we know what people's opinions are within Taiwan. They certainly don't want unification, but they do want to maintain the status quo:

The "independence as soon as possible" crowd is almost as small as the "unification as soon as possible" crowd for being similarly out of their minds. And even all the bullshit that has been happening has not drastically changed people's views. There was a brief "move towards independence" bump for a while between 2018 and 2020 but it has been declining as a result of the US' involvement being too overt, it has been causing people to see it as something the US wants instead of something that's good for them or something they want. More and more people are seeing it as the US interfering.

If a referendum happened for this. Independence would absolutely not win.

  • Oh of course there's not many reading here. But the point is that this behaviour should be opposed because its normalisation here means that the users go elsewhere and normalise it there too. This is prevalent all over the place because nobody bothers to call it out and point out how unhelpful it is.

Even Navalny's team, who I despise as the man's a fascist, has said the same thing I'm currently saying.

  • I care. It's not difficult to get it right.

  • Civilians do not decide whether to surrender or not. Militaries and leadership do.

  • country

Might want to rephrase this. They do not call themselves a country. They call themselves a region of China.

  • I didn't say either of those things. It's wild how much this community rags on twitter for outrage and assuming the worst possible position of anyone that is responding while that seems to be what this community does constantly.

Sometimes the only way to get a fascist nation to stop is to bomb the ever living shit out of them until they stand the fuck down.

Murdering civilians is not in fact how the nazis were stopped. Vastly out-producing them and outnumbering them in terms of armour was. I don't know why you think killing civilians is in any way strategically beneficial. Its main effective use is as a terror action against an occupied population.

This is just really disgusting bloodthirsty shit. The civilians have no less choice in this war than you did in Iraq or Afghanistan. But judging by your character I reckon I can assume you're actually proud of the 2million you killed there.

  • Maybe try clicking it and reading next time?

  • I don't think they're stupid enough to get involved. But if they do we all either die in nuclear hell or die from starvation afterwards.

  • From the multiple other times I've said so in this thread, and from the other times I've told this guy who regularly does this. It's not the first.

Either way you shouldn't be defaulting to male.
