Stalin was a great ML theoretician, he did however make a few mistakes here and there. This should serve as a reminder to test all ideas against the actualities of reality before dogmatically quoting people because they were correct 99% of the time. Ultras don't seem to get it, at the same time they absolutely love to throw words like "dialectics" and "revisionist" while having 0 conceptual understanding of them.
You see, the way many western capitalist media outlets painted this was: "A museum dedicated to prominent national figure was destroyed". They did show his name, but my guess is that the liberals will never do a tiny bit of research - who he was, what atrocities he did... They will look at the headline, gobble it up and the editorial board knows this.
There's a difference between a "country" and a "state". Ukrainian SSR was a state (well, a republic within a bigger state). Ukraine today is a state. Two different states, one country.
"...they're a Nazi country" - what I wanted to point out is that the Banderite fascist puppet regime in Kiev and their dogs who shot at Belgorod and then slithered back into Kharkov do not represent all people in the country. You wouldn't need Vicky Nuland's billions of dollars poured in, as well as people snatchers press-ganging everyone (including disabled, blind and deaf).
Cool your jets, man. There's no such thing as a "Nazi country", only a Nazi state. Ukraine is pretty much a fascist state, both from the materialist and ideological perspective. More specifically, it was Nazified by the US to be its attack dog against Russia. But I can assure you, there are loads of people in Ukraine who do not want to die for US imperialism and the interests of Western finance capital.
Did they even, like, attempt to provide an explanation regarding what they actually wanted to target in the first place? Even if it's complete bullshit? Or did they just hit the city center and cheer about it?
Not really. Federal spending comes before the system is taxed, not after, thus they will always tell the federal reserve to print the money they need when they want to. Your taxes get destroyed.
That is, if that MF gets out of it alive. There's always a chance a "rogue" drone decides to pay him a visit - perhaps because he knows too much. Or, you know, the local nazi monsters could decide to play the "revenge" card by assassinating this piece of shit.
If you're trying to convince a person, you should first assess the situation. Ask yourself this - "is this person willing to listen to you?". If so - you probably should, though in a careful and controlled manner. If not - don't bombard them with facts and history, maybe you should try developing the required conditions, mainly - they must be made responsive, they must want to listen to you. Also - some people won't ever listen to you, for example when they have a material interest in this or that thing. I would not even try arguing with the bourgeoisie - they clearly have a material interest in capitalism and its preservation.
Perhaps you should try asking questions. When they give you typical "dumb liberal" answers - challenge them by creating a logical contradiction ("if that is really so, then why didn't X happen?"), which will make them think. That means you should be bulletproof when it comes to knowledge of theory and history. Dig deeper until you hit the root cause of their ignorance, and then explain to them the real reasons behind what is currently happening.
Convincing takes time. Think twice before committing time to this task - there may be better things to spend it on, especially given the fact that most libs won't be receptive to new ideas straight away, that may only happen when the material conditions around them worsen so much that they would not accept the status quo anymore.
And this, I remind you, is when you have no sanctions, no embargoes, no wars on the ground for the last 100+ years, no major demographic crises, no shortage of arable land, nothing...
He's just another funnel used to siphon working-class movements (along with their grassroots funding) into one big blob of socdem bullshit and then to throw it all under the bus by saying "I drop out, go vote for that senile ghoul over there". Another useful tool for the bourgeois class. At this point it's safe to assume that he does not believe in his own rhetoric. Those who say "he is being used by them whether he wants it or not" - no, he knows what he is and he does these things deliberately. I don't think he's a coward as some people say - he's just another calculating servant of the capitalist class.
In the end - nothing new. The socdems will always side with the bourgeoisie, they will always side with the police, they will always side with the fascists.
Is it OK to have an overwhelming desire to bury him and other neocon monsters like Nuland alive? Like, I know they're just tools and harbingers of american imperialism, but still...
Also - April 30th is right behind the corner.
