There are 3 kind of people when talking about Apple:
1- fanatics who support Apple,
2-fanatics who hate Apple and think you cannot like it,
3- and finally those who just look at the product without thinking about the brand but what you can do with the product (if it suits your needs or not).
It seems like you are that third kind of person.
I have both an iPhone and a Samsung. Both work well but I still prefer the iPhone though it’s a 6 years old one. I’m not an expert but I feel like every app use more familiar choices for design.
And what about Spain with cookies, or Instagram? A lot of places now either force you to accept tracking or pay to stop ads/tracking if you want to access the site.
Many things. Great things like general kindness of the people, the way the States handle national parks, the mentality of taking responsibility about your own live. And just mundane things like those awesome bbqs!
And at the same time, we europeans who have been in the USA (so we just don’t follow what media wants us to think) love so many things in the USA.
Are the States flawed? Yes. Are Europeans country flawed too? Absolutely.
I don’t like the bullying the world thing, but I’m happy I’m on ‘tesm bullying’ and not ‘team Russia’ or middle east.
Spain: you need a justification and they are super hard to get. The most common one is to use it in Training Centers and you are forced to use it there every year or you lose it.
Besides police I’ve never seen a gun in the street as it is strictly forbidden to carry them.
What they mean as that they could also say Israel is a terrorist state. That’s what some people think. And some people, specially those who have friends or family who have been killed in Palestina, might say that Hamas are defending their people and are not terrorists.
But you and me, citizens without voice, can call them terrorists (that’s what they are) but doing so we are somehow chosing a band in a conflict.
