Juuri näin. Keskustelun taso on laskenut ja juuri se lähinnä ärsyttää.

Oon viimeset 2 vuotta jättäny ylenkin komenttiosion lukematta (muut uutissivustojen kommenttiosiot jo kauan sitten). Monet kommentit vaikuttavat usein tietämättömiltä heitoilta vastauksina uutisen otsikkoon ilman, että osattaisiin yhtään katsoa omaa napaa pidemmälle.

Hyvä että näitä virallisesti muutetaan. Useemman vuoden jo kuullut sanan "Esihenkilö" eikä tämä ole mitään uutta. Duunitorin toimarille propsit että otti tämän jo asialistalleen 6v sitten.

Sadly it's not FOSS (just mentioning since we are in FOSS community).

I would have paid for the one-time pro payment even if it was FOSS and was just to support developers. It's really good.

Thanks for sharing, this made me smile. Also it warms my heart to hear how you are making tech accessible to this kid.

Many of us take it for granted but I remember how my dad used to go over to family friends in his free-time to help with computer stuff. I feel like I was too young to learn but it did set an example for me.

Just wanted to comment that am on Version 2.28.0 on android and I don't have this issue.

Only thing that comes to mind is that last time I saw someone have similar issue was because they had accidentally deselected "english" or "undetermined" language settings in their profile on lemmy's default web UI.

Might want to try checking those settings out, don't remember how the other person had accidentally deselected languages but they were just as surprised.

I played it, enjoyed it, and had no idea what the hell is going on.

It was fun because I went in with the expectation that it's bizarre and has a certain cult classic reputation.

Well, atleast they explained how they "fixed" the problem.

En nyt ihan heti osaa heittää linkkiä, mutta Lahdessa oltiin rakennuttamassa Kiinalaisyrityksen rahoittamaa vedenpullottamoa. Paikalliset ovat vastustaneet ja sitä onkin useamman vuoden puitu, mutten muista kaatuiko hanke jo kokonaan vai vieläkö yrittävät.

Would be cool to have that feature. In the meantime hope these two settings help :)

I use "hide read posts" + "mark as read on scroll" - that way when I come back to /all the feed starts from where I left off already or I just need to refresh and it will remove the already-scrolled content.
