Almost every incumbent government has been thrown out or been severely diminished after post covid inflation, I wouldn't give the Conservatives all that much credit.

And Trudeau is unlikely to be an exception to the anti incumbent fury across the globe. Liberals are losing stronghold/safe seats, 338 is predicting an absolute blood bath and the party is in chaos.

Burnaby South is an NDP stronghold, last election Sing won by ten points, with the Liberals in 2nd.

Even in what was basically a bloodbath for the BC provincial NDP this year, the NDP swept all the Burnaby ridings.

And his seat has been redistricted so as the leader of the party, he'll be put in a nearby safe seat.

Agreed. I don't want the Conservatives to win but if we're going to a trade war with America, I'd like to have a functional government that can credibly talk about their future plans asap.
