I went to work with my dad once, but only for a couple of hours. I can't remember why, but we went to a really nice house, and I just sat in the basement while he did something with wires. I think he was in a hurry because he usually took extra time to explain things to me whenever we did stuff together, but we didn't really talk about whatever he was doing that day.
I'll probably go with something more minimalist like sway. I'm trying to branch out and try other things, but I needed a push to get started. I'm really open to anything. AwesomeWM was my goto for the longest time
I'll give it another try soon. I'm rebuilding my server right now, and this might be something I could get into. Which window manager would you suggest?
Exactly this. They never guide or try to cause anything, it's just distressing. The way OP frames it makes it sound like the devil or something is talking to you. It's more like "hey, do you remember that super embarrassing thing you said/did? Well lets play it on repeat for the next however many minutes". It's not something you'd ever want to do.
Linux for everything, but I've been meaning to try out BSD as well. I like that it's a built by a community with people from around the world contributing to it.
I haven't experienced any of those bugs either, but I can see how it would be an issue. I always thought the KDE team waited to release new updates, but maybe they're rushing things now? Not trying to hate on KDE, I've only heard good things about the developers. Gnome always seemed like the more minimalist option between the two, and to me that means stability.
