Sorry but no, that's way too broad of a brush. There definitely ARE sects of christianity that are good, kind, and loving. They might be the minority (or at least seem to be the minority) but they do exist, and there are millions of those congregants.

While no one is perfect, Jesuits are a good example.

Windows' reputation has never been like a supercar, it's always been quite the opposite. It's reputation has always been like a work truck that's a bit janky. It'll do almost everything you try to do with it, but it won't do many of those tasks well, and the ride experience will usually be rough.

Agreed, the purpose of sending someone a file is so they can use it, so you should send it to them in whatever format makes that happen most easily. Is it more important for you to spend your and their time collaborating on the content, or is it more important to evangelize a different compression format?

iirc the new EU law that apple is responding to doesn't say that a mobile device can't have a proprietary port, rather it says that a mobile device must have a USB-C port for charging. But i might be wrong about that.

This is not true. Coffee is a mild diuretic, but the amount of water you consume along with it is way way more than the amount of water that the caffeine induces you to pee out.

The point of OP's question is clear. He's referring to a drink that has sensory qualities that are clearly distinct from plain water. Water with a spritz of lemon still reads as water. As a loose guideline this is like anything you'd order as "water with x" or "x water", like cucumber water. Coffee clearly doesn't fit into that category, it has sensory qualities that are very different than water with x in it.

Absolutely. It's like they did zero research before deciding to do this, like not even a few minutes of googling. Making cars slow down on a non-highway is a solved problem. We know how to do it already, no need to do wacky experiments. It's called "traffic calming", and you can read all about it online.

Absolutely agree. We all have a strong drive to feel that what we do is unique and special, but that doesn't make it true. From the mundane to the artistic, AI already can do a large amount of what people do, and there's every reason to believe that AI's abilities will grow quickly and will surpass humans abilities. When AI is able to replace most jobs, as a society what do we do when there are no jobs for the large majority of people? Humanity is going to go through a tough upheaval more disruptive than anything ever before. We're gonna have to figure out how to completely reorganize how we exist, what we do in our daily lives, and how we think of ourselves as a species.
