  • You missed something in your math there. IDF is considering the October 7th attack as "10 time worse than 9/11" so up those numbers close to 900,000. Maybe make it 911,911 for the fun propaganda value. With more than half of the 2.2 million Gaza population (although maybe we should start counting the West Bank killings as it is ramping up, too) being children and seeing how Israeli government doesn't discriminate , maybe they can quench their bloodthrist with young blood alone, even.

  • I'm not intending to say any war crime, especially committed towards civilian victims, which any army at war has and will keep committing with varying scales, can be acceptable, but consider the average Russian soldier's mental health at this point in this war.

Now that the saner, civilian population who lived their lives in comparable civic environments and acted mostly accordingly are conscripted into a known meat grinder, being dogged on higher-ups every day and waiting to be thrown into the next meat grinder in a few months at maximum, how can they keep their sanity?

This is not just one man's doing, though. Such sinister governing organizations need a lot of similarly-thinking inhuman piece of shits to get together to have such influence on millions of lives and keep their heads, let alone positions of power. This includes all powers of legislation and justice departments, financial bodies, media, local instigators and more. The total number of these people would still amount to a fraction of the normally-peacefully-living population affected, but their power to manipulate the outspoken minds the latter is to big to overcome by the latter population that usually minds its own business and is naturally disorganized.

Most governments these are still run by criminal syndicates, or feudal lords that play tag-team with their seemingly-competitors, that give the population a facade of voting them in willingly. Of course except for a few select people that actually worked mostly in favour of the general population in most democracies' histories. Not even gonna talk about failed "democracies'" like Russia or Turkey.

So yeah, I agree that this war is Russian government committing genocide on Russian people. Average Ukrainian civilians or soldiers at least know that the people of the world sympathize with them when they are at risk of losing everything. Average conscripted Russian is all alone in the mud and blood. Overall a war without any silver lining for either party, wagen on undeserving people of Ukraine and waged with unwilling people of Russia.

  • I'm not exactly sure ATM, but I remember seeing some map in game (as part of the introductory "news" video maybe) that showed Turkey as red along with other CSAT members.

However, I think it falls a bit wrong as well because Altis and Stratis are actually real island directly in the Aegean sea in between Turkey and Greece, so moving them well southwards to be somewhere nearer to Malta would miss out on having these islands at such a critical position if Turkey were in CSAT while the Greece and other Balkan countries are still in NATO.

  • This here is a little happy tree (that grew on the human fertilizer), and this here is another little happy tree because everyone needs a friend (like the friend I put in the ground there to keep the previous human fertilizer company)

  • I think the more "valued" or preferred part of an insult is rather its phonetic or expressive aspect rather than the semantic one. Of course the semantic parts plays a role, as well, but the need to use stressed syllables to express oneself, or simply vent out the emotion, far surpasses the need to utter a semantically-accurate syllable or word to badmouth someone or something.

See here from Monty Python and the Holy Grail

It is a beautiful insult that can vent out the emotions, or can be used for fun among friends etc. that uses no semantics to insult people, but uses very mouthful words to stress and some unfocused (as in not targeting any types of people) pragmatics, like insulting someone by insulting their parents, and insulting them as such making them out to be not something they are (was an x, smelt).

So, whatever semantically gender-neutral alternative you are looking for, consider to have a very strong expressive aspect to it that sticks to tongue.

  • Oh no, you are wrong about that, dude. Buzzing each other and actually copying all other domestic and international acts of each other has earned Mitsotakis and Erdoğan very firm seats. Just cry "enemy at the gates" when the elections are closing in, you can be a god among men.

  • They have to go about this route to reach the kids so kids won't see stuff, but nevertheless hear about them to have an opinion:

Israeli Government: 'Genocidal rage face under the reasonable face mask' We have a right to defend ourselves by bombing civilians because of x reasons

U.S. President: Our allies have a right to defend themselves against terrorist attacks

Mainstream media: Holocaust survivors facing the same horrors at the hands of Palestinian terrorists must take every measure to defend themselves

Parents watching mainstream media only: Look how these barbarian Arabs without blue eyes and blonde hair are causing never before seen atrocities

    Kids

  • Some Arma 3 campaign plot thing where there are 2 major blocks in the world by 2035, NATO vs CSAT, the latter, being formed by China, Russia, Iran, Turkey etc. internationally, mainly seen composed of Iranian/Arabic people speaking Persian and having a presence on an independent Mediterranean Island as peacekeeping mission alternative to NATO, but also secretly testing an earthquake device to destabilize the ordinary life on smaller countries to set a precedent for going there on an "aid and peacekeeping" mission.

The closer we get to 2035, the more I feel like Arma 3's timeline can actually be a reality by then.

For the record, and with respect, I blame Miller.
