Don't even need the damn button. Yesterday while playing some fullscreen game with critical network usage (CSGO) my windows 10 with edited group policies and registry keys to block updates just switched to the outlook from the old mail program and ran it in the foreground (behind the game).
Microsoft doesn't give a fuck about the user consent, the settings for updates, settings for game focus, out-of-the-way advanced user controls etc. These settings don't even need to be defaulted without consent via updates, it seems they outright don't work.

It is a gradual rollout. as many have said. I hadn't seen the Youtube's first warning until today, although people have be talking about it for a few weeks now.
Nah, if a few aliens put some nukes or worse weapons to our heads from above, maybe shoot a couple here and there, we would definitely switch within 2 weeks at most.
Or, you know, we could just phase out the politics, give some ample time for economies and a few other select business that have work on very very puctual timing, like a few years tops, the 99% of the world would switch pretty seamlessly over a week at most. The remaining 1% could just as easily keep the old year length to continue their internal businesses. Changing most things, especially if from an incorrect or arbitrary thing to a systemic one, is rather easy but hard to accept.
It is a space anime with characters living quick and dangerous, but due to the way it is written, hand-animated, detailed, and grounded to a heavy extent, this one anime hits different as I age. It is itself targeting an older audience compared other blockbuster animes, but nevertheless it is one that keeps some aspects with you through the rewatches, but can also have substantial new feelings as you gain different life experiences. All of the main characters themselves have some kind of a past that is weighing them down through their current affairs, but their power to go on can be mostly summarized to living a life in limbo all the while trying to cope with it via simple tough-guy acts of trying to be indifferent to it.
It is not a good mantra that can be maintained for long. It is rather something that helps delaying the immediate feelings before the acceptance comes.
I'm starting to be believe most of these "if anyone in Gaza says this, it can't be true" naysayers only count deaths if there are at least 3 news about every singe dead or maybe 5 Facebook posts as well. It is still not reasonable if the said news or posts don't have blonde hair blue eyes or lined-up upper/lower torso combinations.
Matching the amount of dropped bombs to civilian density, amount of liquidifed buildings, hospital and morgue lists, lied-about shootings and airstrikes? What Hamas propaganda is this? This line of thinking is what causes governments to put chips in our brains. But not Israel government, because they are the leaders of genocide victims of 80 years ago and since they are the pet bulldog of the U.S. in the Middle East, they are definitely the good guys.
Anyway, waiting for some Israeli news agency to call the whole list of the dead BS because they found one guy in that list becoming a new resident in their 10.000 inmate prisons and some random bot calling me to eat this comment in the next 3 days.
Economically, yes. This devil spawn we have presiding over our heads has fucked it up maybe irreversibly bad. We have no proper industry left to depend on. Let alone the braindrain, now even the average person feels no ties to the governing body ruling these lands now.
Culturally, there is no way that happening. Leftist half of the country think very similar to European libertarian ideologies. Some of them are in awe of European countries, some are vary because of attributing most of the current Middle East and Africa instability to European colonialism, but nevertheless this half is a mostly leftist in all human rights issues at least. That is why they have no illusion of siding with Russian or Chinese ideologies, regardless of their economic views.
The conservative part, as all uneducated conservative sides in the world, have bigoted views on human rights and flicker from side to side depending on the day's propaganda, but they have a deep distrust towards both Russia and China. They usually don't like the west, either, but that as I said will depend on if Erdoğan is hiddenly begging for money from the west and licking their boots or if the elections are closing in and Erdoğan needs to show "he is a strongman".
NATO alliance benefits both Turkey's interests closely, and the Europe's. Canton alliance would be even a harder pill to swallow for Turkey than NATO alliance, and losing Turkey as the buffer zone against the flow of eastern immigrants/buffer against hundreds of militant and/or terrorist organizations would put overall NATO/European Union on the frontline to these elements.
As for not accepting Turkey into EU, yeah that is a given, especially with this guy taking every step away for the last 20 years from meeting the conditions for joining.
At what point will you be considering big corps=government in the U.S.? We all know big oil has tremendous lobby, we all have evidence the military industry that works for profit more than anything else is responsible for most American wars in the last several decades. We all know what manchild is ruining everything he touches and shakes hands with government officials. We all know that Facebook and Cambridge Analytica manipulation machine.
Corporates and capitalism might not directly do legislation or have the executive power, but the U.S. government at least is a for-profit organization for a long while now, and evidently profits are not made with showing oppressed people suffering when you are gaining shitloads of money by selling weapons/investing in the oppressor.
Why does U.S. has interests in the region and it is put into words like it is a normal thing? Is this still about the "we were intending to beat that Nazi guy 80 years ago before the Soviets did it before us, so we gotta still act up like we are the global police" thing or is it "some plane hit our towers 20 years ago so we gotta exact tenfolds of body count and untold amount of oil from the region" kinda interests?
There is a 2balkan4you community here, isn't there?
