Important question

Neurodivergence @beehaw.org

Yep

  • Could well be right. I agree coercive control is difficult cos it's a pattern and victims "willingly" do things. SA can be a one off crime so it can be easier. You may be right though

  • Yes and there's maybe some strings been pulled behind the scenes about what evidence was allowed.

  • Ahhhh that makes sense thanks. Could they not have considered different charges eg sexual assault charges

  • No Stupid Questions @lemmy.world

How did Diddy get off with so much?

  • That's perfect for taking cat photos! Thanks for explaining it

  • Ahhh I didn't know! What kind of features?

  • There's also far more evidence I mentioned below. There's way more evidence against her than the article shows including huge amounts of Facebook searches and souvenirs regarding victims discussed here or how she was repeatedly not credible on the stand. You can see the quantity here. The statistics isn't as simple for example sudden spike in deaths and clusters of episodes or the pattern following her to days see here. Even if she was innocent, she should have been removed before, and the deaths not covered up by bosses.

  • That was my concern initially but there's way more evidence against her than the article shows including huge amounts of Facebook searches and souvenirs regarding victims discussed here or how she was repeatedly not credible on the stand. • I agree we need accountability at higher levels. When you look into the evidence against her there's a fuckton, and the high up actions are horrifying. There really was an active cover up and the inquiry has revealed how bad it was.

  • Funny @sh.itjust.works

    Is this irony?

  • Yes, it's really common for people our age to be undiagnosed. Being diagnosed changed my life, it really helped me.

  • That's good. I remember doing the scene in the 90s there were fuck all trans people

  • Yes, loads. I think you could still smoke on planes but not totally sure. Absolutely nobody vaped it was all ciggies, and they were WAY cheaper. There weren't the scary signs on them, they had branded packs and loads more people smoked. I remember the smoking ban in pubs coming in, it was controversial

  • Obviously this is just my perspective on things... I'm a UK millennial probably old enough to be your mother

The millennium was hyped up but came to nothing weren't as big as it was supposed to be.

Terrorism barely got mentioned before 9/11. In the UK we had the IRA so we had more awareness.

Internet wasn't really around as much. Online shopping definitely wasn't a big thing, big stores had few or no shopping options. It was absolutely NOT used by everyone, and not everyone used computers. Mobile charges were expensive.

I've noticed a big generation gap between millennial and Gen Z. Better awareness towards MH, inclusiveness etc. Also seem to be more health conscious and drink less.

  • I didn't know I was neurodiverse till I was in my 30s, someone pointed it out to me. It's worth looking into... any ideas what you might have?
