  • If you have a phone with custom ROM support, pretty easy. I've been running LineageOS without GAPPS for like 5 years now. Most stuff just works, but to be fair, I am not using any of the cool kids apps like google pay or android auto.

  • Remind me again, who ordered the nuclear plants to be closed, and who prolonged their runtimes? Who came up with Agenda 2010 and who blocked Bürgergeld being more than a name change?

And if they are one of the worst parties of the EU, I envy your selective reading. We have parties more or less openly advocating for fascism. "SocDems but with a green coat of paint" don't even make the top ten.

  • Emotionally, I want to agree with you, but lynching is almost always going to hit the wrong people, too. The well connected teacher/coach/advisor who likes to prey on girls is not going to be hit, but the black guy who happens to be at the wrong spot at the wrong time, and triggers all the "we must protect our women!1!" ?

  • Run our of RAM, apparently.

A few containers, a bunch of IDE windows with large work spqces and a dozen or two browser tabs add up. At least I can follow my "workflow" of doing three things at more or less the same as time

  • European Socialism? Come on, we are supposed to be better than "socialism is when health care".

I know what you want to say, but last time I checked, every EU country had millionaires and beggars, a market economy, most companies were in the hand of private citizens or shareholders, and guaranteed private property (with the usual legal exceptions).

Don't be like the populists. Words have meanings and meanings matter. It is social market economy at most.

  • that’s also something I won’t get over.

Not when you keep repeating that to yourself. Shit sucks, shit will suck for a while, but shit won't suck forever. It is okay to grief and be sad about good things. But life has to go on. Do things, meet people, force yourself to do it.

It will get better, period. Right now, it feels like it won't. But you are already reaching out here, that is working on getting better. Keep doing it, and in the meantime, head up, chest out, carry on.
