Yeah this is one of the reasons I never bother with any events involving crowds anymore. That or covid. Just not worth it.

I just wish there was some way to limit the abject suffering that's on the way to those most responsible. But unfortunately millions of completely innocent people will be caught in the crossfire...

Lol I don't even remember most of my previous handles. If amnesia isn't a valid defense I'm never getting into the USA. Then again, I have no reason to visit shithole countries in the first place.

If a loving god ever existed, he would not allow vile creatures such as this to be in any position of power. Yet, every position of power is filled with exactly this kind of human excrement. Only one thing will get rid of them.

Thinking wikipedia or other unbiased sources will still be available in a decade or so is wishful thinking. Once the digital stranglehold kicks in, it'll be mandatory sign-in with gov vetted identity provider and your sources will be limited to what that gov allows you to see. MMW.

The exception to that is AI. I think I do need to change my own life in order to increase my chance of thriving in an AI-dominated future, at least because if some jobs will still exist then I’ll need to be able to do one of them.

I work in IT and have for the past 20 years, and I have 20 more to go. I'm preparing my exit and setting my sights elsewhere since it's obvious this little tower is going to crumble in a fairly short amount of time.
