exactly I was commenting on the food end of the spectrum since we only talked about it in a nutrition course, I'm not too sure about drugs but they're probably a lot more rules
No I took a few nutrition courses in my undergrad and they always bring up the FDA as the gold standard of how NOT to run things, its frequently laughed at and sometimes downright shocking. I don't have specifics because I took those courses almost a decade ago now but if you're curious you can always conpare CFIA (Canadian food inspection agency) with FDA and you'll quickly see some clear differences.
Thats neat! I have a friend that works for Jamieson regulatory affairs, they read claims on new products and make sure they comply with our standards. I took a course a while back and we were told that in the states the burden of proof of a claim was on the FDA but in canada the regulations are much more strict, thats why a lot of products never make it over the boarder. Its pretty wild actually, thats why I said I don't trust the FDA at all.
I hope canada capitalizes on this too, I've seen a huge brain drain over the years as the states just pays so much more and has a lot more opportunity. I hope that reverses.
I'm wrapping up schooling for med lab/MLT and I've found charts and repetition to be my best friend. If I have a bunch of antibiotics or blood products to remember I group them, come up with memory tricks and acronyms, then lock my self in my office and spend a few hours with coffee and snacks just staring at my notes and burning everything into my memory. I find that 3 is the magic number, meaning I need to go through and fully understand my notes 3 times for the information to stick. The mind palace technique works too. I also like to do a little extra research, I find that fully understanding the mechanism and purpose of why I am even doing something helps but thats just me, I like to start out with the tiny details then zoom out to see how all the puzzle pieces fit together to make the big picture.
At the end of the day just find a technique that works for you, flashcards help, associations, diagrams. Best of luck!
Can you elaborate? I'm I scientist so I can go on all day about life systems and how everything works but I have no idea what form and formless means. Life is definitely physical, measurable and concrete, I'm not sure theres much more to it than that. Everything else just seems like ideas that help us relate to observed behaviours.
Just letting go of all that soft power and goodwill built up over the decades eh? I honestly can't believe he can just bulldoze the entire world order so easily with zero resistance its pretty fucked. Oh well, this is what america voted for, you guys earned it. Hopefully the rest of the world can adapt and work together in a world with a hostile US.
I use it in the lab and find smells like purple freezies. Not going to taste it.
