I wonder how well the EA App will work - not because of Lutris, but because of how broken it is. Many people still cannot play games they have purchased for many months now. EA doesn't care and is still selling games on Steam that are broken due to their shitty launcher. For a while, some solutions to keep using Origin worked, but not anymore, least for me.

On a different note: when will this update be out on Flathub? I can't seem to find that info anywhere. Anyone knows?

Haha that reminds me of Bard's Tale where we were drawing maps as we went.

I've played it several times back then and kept a hand-written cheat sheet for that one puzzle where you had to get that crystal out. It was so hard without a quick walkthrough on the internet ;)

Could you elaborate a little on the syncing please, it doesn't sound "all pretty easy" to me :). You are mentioning 3 apps, why do you need all of them?

EA Launcher, Ubisoft and Battlenet work fine with Lutris.

I wouldn't install a kernel level "anti-cheat" crap on a Windows machine anyway, no loss here.

Also having zero issues using NVIDIA, works great. Distro wise it comes down to personal preferences and tastes. I second Mint for easy use, but I'm hearing that other distros like Nobara and PopOS also work great for gaming.

Well, it all comes down to tastes and preferences, but Linux Mint is made to be a very easy transition for (ex-)Windows users. It works out of the box, looks intuitive and has great support on their forums. Give it a try and if you feel like you want to try out other distros later, it all gets easier once you are familiar with Linux overall.

And yes, what you mean is dual booting and Mint asks you on install if you want to choose that option and sets everything up for you.
