My grandma carried fresh jalapeno peppers in her purse for years so when she went out to eat she had something spicy too. That's the story of how I ended up eating jalapenos with every meal.
I joined and a lot of the people from conservative states said that they had a day in high school where they were mandated to take the asvab. I'm originally from CA and had never heard that, I basically had zero idea of anything about entrance requirements for the military until I walked into the recruiters office for the first time. Pretty crazy.
I was iPhone only from whenever the pixel 1 launched until the 12 pro max. I had a nexus 6p when the pixel 1 happened and was pumped for the next nexus and then got pissed at what Google replaced the nexus lineup with. So I jumped ship and was very happy with apple for a while. iOS has matured a lot and now lets you do a lot of things android does; widgets, always on display, USB c soon, file explorer. That's not to mention the ecosystem; airpods are incredible to use, apple watch is so much better than android wear, everything syncing and It Just Working ®. The thing that ultimately got me to switch was the z fold 3. I believe foldables are 100% the future and using one for the past 2 years now has been incredible. I actually bought a 14 pro max just to try going back but it just wasn't the same at all. Apple is still really good and I understand why people cling to it so much. When I was younger green bubble hate was a legit thing if you weren't a nerd so that social pressure helps. Ultimately the flexibility that android offers is what's worth it for me but if apple makes a foldable I'd definitely be tempted to come back.
I wrote this very drunk so I apologize if this stream of consciousness text makes no sense. I just get very enthused when I can somehow segue a conversation back to foldables👍
Can't believe it's finally over. Dropped it when the author did that weird chapter where she's like beaten up and getting choked. Crazy it has a 9.0 rating, was it just because the art was good?
Yeah, am I crazy or was that not the default for reddit sync? Or was it a mixed bag of both posts and comments? Not sure what would necessitate the change.
Very true, but like the other guy I have a foldable. They're pretty big phones already so I don't use a case with mine since it'd make it even bigger and unwieldy.
This has to be the most unpopular opinion ever considering how much is invested into phone's cameras, but holy shit do I hate phone's cameras. To me it is such a monumental waste of resources; the average user cannot tell the difference, every phone ever now has a huge camera bump, and social media just compresses everything to shit anyway so there is no way to even tell how good a photo actually is. Before smart phones were a thing, no one except actual, dedicated photographers had anything better than maybe a shitty disposable camera on them. Now every phone ever, and especially the high end flagships, seem to make the camera the end all be all of features. I would pay extra to have a camera from four years ago and have my phone not have a bump... Because 99% of people couldn't tell the difference anyway.
Thank you for coming to my Ted talk. There are cookies by the exit and please be sure to sign my change.org petition before you leave as well.
Lol idk how removing ads and just rehosting the video is a gray area but whatever works for me... I figured when I first clicked on it, it was like a watch party kind of thing. Like I post a video file then whoever I want can watch it with me... Not just pulling video files from other sites lol. Still, seems cool and is super slick
Just sad that's what the Internet has come to, microtransactions for using an app for a website that just aggregates links. Not to mention reddit has already gimped your third party access with the NSFW stuff and I'm sure more is on its way. Fuuuuuck off reddit
Yeah imo it's a pretty bullshit take to say what xalavier did. Like no shit not every new RPG is gonna be to the same quality as bg3 but is that us as the consumer's fault? We're supposed to just ignore bg3 and be happy with the status quo? When has being stagnant ever been good for anyone, ever? Fuck off and just make a good game and no one will complain
