I am tangentially familiar with some of the twists and stuff from being a kid of the 90s, but I’m still looking forward to it. Already there has been a decent amount of Trek crossover too, so that’s cool.
I’d add to the other good comments to say be careful to not damage your walls when leaning it against them. I used one and it left little dents in the wall.
Ha my wife and I are watching through B5 for the first time right now. At the beginning of season 2 right now, it’s really picking up although we both grew to like Sinclair and miss him now.
You sound like me. I don’t do well with sandbox games, I like a story related objective to work towards. Subnautica and Outre Wilds are also both favorites of mine. I also think a great chill game is Forza Horizon 4 or 5. Driving around the open world with changing time of day and popping into different events is so relaxing to me, especially if I mute the in-game radio and play some Spotify instead. My only regret is I bought it through the Microsoft Xbox app (to keep my progress I made during a Game Pass free trial) and now I can’t play it on my Steam Deck.
When I visited (so take it with a grain of salt) a local (who was a friend of a friend and showed us around) said that culturally there is a lot of encouragement to be creative in various forms. Be interested if any Icelandic people would either confirm or deny this.
I don’t know what to say. I went in not expecting a 1 to 1 of the books. I agree there are definitely some things that are very questionable and things I don’t like, and I think there are some cool things about it too. I love the books and they will always be there for me to enjoy. I just don’t have the energy to get that upset about stuff like this anymore. I’m not trying to change your mind and I see where you’re coming from. I’m just trying to say that liking the series doesn’t automatically mean you’ve never read the books.
They’ll get to it after they agree on the best Linux distro.
