Read and loved them since I was a kid. I understand that different mediums have different requirements and adapting stories from the 40s/50s might necessitate some changes. I definitely have my issues with it, but I am able to enjoy it for what it is and not pretend it’s a 1 to 1 version of the books. Life is too short to get upset about entertainment.
I would say Severance, For All Mankind, & Foundation are all good to great. Apple TV has been doing a great job with the quality vs. quantity compared to other services. I tried to get into Ted Lasso but it wasn’t for me.
So glad I don’t work in IT, all I hear about are endless ‘standup’ ‘agile’ ‘blah blah blah’ meetings.
I work remote and message my manager if I need anything. We talk over Teams almost every day, why would we need a meeting. I work with providing support to a client for their Customs import activity. Just leave me alone and let me do my work!
I kind of agree. The way I have to contort my hand to use the trackpad with my right thumb is super uncomfortable for me. I prefer using the thumb stick for any kind of look. Don’t mind the trackpad for brief menu selections though.
Not a vegan, but a vegetarian. This is why I love Indian food. When food is made from the beginning to not include meat products, it doesn’t feel like it’s ‘missing’ anything.
No problem! I’m more curious what is going on. I did create the post while viewing the Star Trek instance from my sopuli.xyz instance. Like you said, it might be a quirk of the Fediverse.
Weird, I didn’t link to my instance or a thread on my instance at all. From what I can see I posted the exact same link that you did - direct to trekmovie.com. Not sure what is going on.
