maybe dev-publisher contracts should have some kind of tontine clause as a failsafe. If one goes broke or fails to fulfill their part of the bargain access to the publication pipeline should revert to the active partner.

According to an insider however, Microsoft is actively working with Capcom to bring MvC – among others – to Xbox.
