  • Right now, for some of us at least, it's kind of early days for watching subs only, my feed is kind of slow without being on All, and it helps me discover new communities.

  • Lemmy users see kbin magazines as communities and vice versa. OP mentioned/asked in the context of both platforms.

  • I'm still on the fence about that being a good thing. I'm kind of looking forward to being able to see Twitter style content from major companies but without ads via my Mastodon account.

  • "Non-bot Lemmy instance" Go talk to the beehaw'ers about that, they're convinced we're the bottiest of instances. =P

  • This is called an "Auditor Trap".

  • Not sure about local control, but I've been pleased with the Roborock line.
