  • Where the hell did you go to see all that? I've lived in the US for half a century and never seen any of that. There are some states that need to figure out how to pave roads that will last more than 2 years, but many states have figured that out.

  • Wolves are also nice doggos when raised by humans.

  • I like it when my thing gets tingly.

  • If you put a tent there, I'd call it home.

  • I've never figured out how to view the sidebar in any of the Lemmy apps I've used.

  • I also think makeup is gross. Women think they look pretty, but they just look like clowns. I can understand covering a zit, or using it when you're on camera or stage, but that's the only reason you should use makeup.

  • That's how I spent my teenage years. I wasn't much of an adult yet.

  • I think high heels look really stupid, not hot. They also look horribly uncomfortable. You would think that in 2023 we would be way past those outdated and horrible contraptions.

  • If you did, someone probably spit in it.

  • That's not going to help them out of the mess they've gotten themselves into.

  • I can't. Thanks!

  • Mine will show "Spam" or "Telemarketer", but there's no way to stop it from ringing trough, outside of blocking each number afterward. I'd like to know who thought that just announcing spam was better than not letting it through.

  • I agree. Nazis are ok, but the Illinois Nazis are horrible.

  • Try making it legible. I can't make out most of it because the characters are not clear and they are not lined up well enough to understand the flow. Maybe hire someone with better penmanship than you.

  • As a recovering alcoholic, I will answer your question as to when you become alcoholic. I drank every night for 22 years before I started having issues in the day. It took me a while to figure out that I was going through withdrawals. I didn't think I could be having withdrawals, because I drank last night. The withdrawals got steadily worse until I had to start taking a sip at lunch just to calm them. After some time the sip at lunch turned into a sip after lunch, a sip before lunch, and eventually a drink every hour just to ward off the massive withdrawals.

Addiction is a progressive disease. It always gets worse, but not at the same rate for everyone. I had a friend that died of alcoholism at 27. I drank just like he did, sobered up at 44, and am still here.
