  • Yeah honestly was looking at something like a 2018 GMC Terrain with higher mileage since I only drive about 3500 miles a year. If its got like 80k on the dial it wouldn’t bug me any. It’ll take yeeears before it hits 100k. But yeah I’d want something decent in condition.

We’ve had my wife’s car for a good 7 years (its ten years old now) and its still under 100k with it being the main family hauler. It’s the car that had priority to get fixed lol. Mines a little neglected since its mostly for around town or when i go in for work every so often.

  • My cars are as old or older than my kiddos. ‘08 VW Rabbit (aka Golf) and a ‘13 Traverse. I want a slightly larger vehicle with a bit more room for the younger one’s car seat, but I can’t afford a payment for anything recent. Would like to jump ahead to at least 2018 models.

  • I do models for laptops and case names for my built desktop. So Dell-3590 or my desktop is NR400.

I know who has what so its easy to manage if i want to cut off network access or transfer files.

  • That and some other horror movies i really liked, like ghost ship that had an into scene where a bunch of people got sliced up by a quick moving wire. Then there was what, cabin fever?

But yeah slice and dice was pretty gross.

  • My brother! It didn’t help that a family member made a E.T. lamp with light up eyes, finger tip, and heart. It flickered. And my parents put it next to my bed. I remember hiding under the sheets from it.

Mom had the gall to gift it to me for a house warming present lol. Its in a box….somewhere.

  • I kind of got lucky and got promoted into a IT Security Analyst position without any certs. I have no idea if anything I’m doing is actual cybersecurity analyst work or if its just what my company thinks it needs. Scheduled to take my SSCP later this month with implications a title change and raise if I pass, though trying to study for it has not been going well [after paid -for training]. I’ve thought of trying to apply for a similar role at another company but not exactly enjoying incident response. Love the company and team I’m on tho.
