  • I remember seeing that on YouTube years ago.

  • I don't know, I think I've seen more than 2-3k of these trucks in Houston alone. Also someone keeps etching "Swastikar" into them. Rumor is they're using an acid etchant like ferric chloride.

  • The IT crowd came out almost 20 years ago

  • Ad supported search is the only way people will continue to use the internet. I feel the only real reason the internet is so widely used is because of the accuracy and accessibility provided by search engines and without them, the web as it currently exists will die and become small factions of like-minded individuals on forums. Some people like that idea but I'll tell you, as someone who lived through the internet in that era, there was some pretty fucked up shit that came out of those spaces.

We need global agora and we need ways to stay connected on unified platforms and we need to maintain history and knowledge. The Internet is our species's latest evolution. It allows us to combine our collective thoughts and knowledge for better or for worse. Destroying the primary way to navigate the Internet is an awful idea even though the leader of that industry is Google.

  • The problem with rioting in the states is that, there absolutely are riots and thus riot police. Rioting gets you shot.

  • There's a growing popularity for the Divorced Dad's trading card game here in the states. My local game shop hosts the occasional game night for it.

  • Only the house of representatives has the power to impeach. This isn't a thing "everyone" gets to do.

  • Can't have a Biden law. Biden introduced that so it must be bad for the US.

  • But we don't call it American football. We just call it football.

  • But America also has rugby leagues. Rugby is not a foreign concept to most Americans.

  • It's more dangerous than if we were unpresidented

  • The snopes thing is weird. It's just kind of a lie isn't it?

Here's a snopes article that doesn't confirm or deny his salute was an HH but states that all those pictures of other politicians in similar are in air poses are in fact not Nazi salutes.

  • When convention doesn't convey the proper flow of the conversation then you have to improvise. I've seen this in western comics before, though I don't have any examples on hand. The bubbles have a tail indicator to show who is speaking and a flow indicator to show the order in which the bubbles are spoken. It is a little strange in this case but it's not unheard of and it does the job it was drawn to do.

  • The connection between the bubbles guides you to the next bubble in order of dialogue. Without it it would read as if the man says everything first before the woman speaks which is incorrect.

  • It makes sense to me. You start in the top left like how you read and then you get a direction for the order of the conversation. I read it naturally at intended the first time through.

  • Is this video being suppressed by the YouTube algorithm? I wonder if it's because of Tesla or Disney. Or maybe it's because of simulated child harm?
