  • There is no combination of ingredients a brazilian won't dare mix.

Americans will be whining about pineapple on pizza while Brazil is adding banana, chocolate, ribs and potato chips to it.

I'm honestly all for it, i hate this dumbass stigma people have over changing "traditional recipies". Fuck that, mix it up, throw shit at the all until it sticks, just make me something that tastes good.

  • Or find any art for an unnatractive PC/NPC at all. Or at least one that doesn't look like a supermodel.

Why is everyone hot?? Sometimes i just need an ugly pirate or something. Even the monstrous races all just look like attractive humans with a new coat of paint.

  • I've heard that they might've been covered in feathers as children, but didn't grow any more as they got older, so they'd be spread out, not covering much, which is also how it works with elephants and hair.

  • I mean, i'm not really into dubstep, but i kinda do apreciate instrumentals way more than lyrics. A song with good lyrics will be ruined by a shit melody, but a nice melody will still be catchy even without the best lyrics.

No matter how touching your lyrics are, something like a great symphony will still make me more emotional without ever having to say a word.

  • unless we're also putting "Slave" and "Cotton" on the dictionary chopping block

Aren't we though? At least when it comes to tech, Master-Slave terminology has been largely deprecated in favor of other terms.

  • Also, even if they didn't need to specifically be cubes, he still left part of the object behind.

Does it not matter how much he brings to the end?

Is the requirement for success here solely his speed?

Why not ditch the cube altogether?

Or is it a sum of both speed and "cube mass"?

If so, how much can he shave off and still compensate by being fast?

Could you just cut a small piece of it and sprint to the end?

Is there a minimum amount you need to bring?

    So many questions...

  • The issue is only if the DM penalizes you for it. I think the result should ultimately be up to the dice, but explaining what exactly you're doing helps the DM move the story in the right direction.

Also, the game will inevitably require irl skills to play. You can't "roleplay" combat strategy or how much you pay attention irl, so there's no escaping that. I don't think it's that unreasonable to expect players to at least come up with simple descriptions of what they're trying to achieve during a dialogue.

  • Yeah, that sucks. I do the "elaborate" thing as well, but that's mostly because i want the player to have a chance to roleplay and give creative input. If they're having trouble coming up with something i'll just try to fill in the gaps.

That or i'm deciding if what they're asking is even possible, in which case they shouldn't roll until after i make the call. ( In general you shouldn't roll unless prompted by your GM)

  • I've just finished Inscryption and it was one of the best gaming experiences i've ever had. On the surface it seems like a simple card game but it's so much more than that! This game is so wild and creative it's insane. Strongly recommend you play it, don't look anything up about it.

I bought it along with some other Daniel Mullins games for about 5 bucks total on sale. I almost feel bad cause it's certainly worth more than that, lol.

  • This is it, after millions of years thinking we were alone in the universe... Alas, first contact:

"People of earth, we would like to inform you that your vehicle is illegally parked in the orbit of the alpha centauri system, sector b-42. Failure to promptly remove this vehicle until stardate -298953.5519125684 may result in said vehicle being hurled at the sun at the planet's expense"
