The problem with your comment is that it assumes that this whole thing started with the Hamas attack. Go back in time 2 weeks and your whole argument applies with the sides swapped.

Israel has been killing Palestinians for decades. Hamas did what it did in response to that.

Like get some fucking context. Palestinian innocents died and got injured in much MUCH larger numbers than Israel for a very long time.

Counterpoint: A lot of people that smoke want to stop smoking. A lot of people would more easily stop smoking if it was banned or not so easily available.

Also from the title of the article it seems that this would never apply to people that already smoke legally. The idea is that you set a minimum age and then you increase it every year. Meaning that in 100 years smoking is banned for everyone. But nobody was never banned from smoking when they were legal before. They were just never allowed to. So it prevents young people from picking up the habit.

Do you have a solution for running movies of off USB or similar with the Apple TV? I sometimes download movies or shows and I don’t want to deal with streaming them from the pc using plex as I always worry that I’m not getting the best quality. I usually plug a usb stick to my smart tv but sometimes it doesn’t pick up on the subtitles.

It’s literally all that is missing from Apple TV for me (plus the VPN thing that was missing). To be able to run media from an external storage.

Counterpoint. It depends massively on what communities you use. So there’s a not so small possibility that both you and the people you disagree with are right.

That sounds good in theory but with layoffs you tend to at least aim to let the worst employees go. With resignations you have literally the opposite. The best people are the ones that will go and the best ones will go first as they can and will find a new job more easily.

Not saying that they don’t do it for that reason but sometimes (and I’d say most times) people are just incompetent and do stupid shit like this.

Can we also have post race/event discussion threads? I find it really weird to see a thread that is a mixed of comments while the race is going on and over. I really miss that from reddit.
