  • Used to belong to a Homebrewing forum (beer, not computer servers), and they had monthly post about someone wanting to infuse their beer with tobacco. Which is where I learned that it will kill ya dead. Tobacco can be used externally to reduce swelling, chew on a wasp sting will prevent a lot of it. Or if you're looking for trouble late in life I guess you could smoke it also, though that one seems a great deal less compelling to me.

Re-iterate - Don't eat any food made with tobacco, it will harm you at the very least.

  • Furthermore, in the negotiations, they have allowed a lot of infrastructure projects to be counted towards this percentage calculations. So, there may not be much in the way of new actual military spending, just improving the roads/rails of the agreeing countries. That seems a lot easier to sell to the folks that are further from Russia.

  • Trade is good, being completely reliant on another country to deliver the things you need is bad. Especially if you have no idea how to make the things you need. What's doubly bad is relying on a country that says they want to be ready to go to war with you in three years.

Trade is good, but we need to know how to make the stuff we rely on daily. If WW3 were to start, and we were to get cut off from our trading partners, we need to know how to make the things we require to continue to exist. I don't think the video is trying to convince us to never buy another foreign product. I think it's telling us we need to retain the knowledge that is required to make things in the US, so the country doesn't grind to a halt in the event of an emergency.

  • Samsung used to have their WiFi sharing under the Hotspot setting. Then they changed the layout, and now WiFi sharing is buried deep in menus to make sure (for some terrible reason, I'm sure) it's not found without a web search. They change the exact location of it with every OneUI update also, to further piss me off. They are surely the company that is actively trying hardest to lose customers.

  • See the free market is working! They screwed up last year, and their reputation is so tarnished they weren't able to do the same thing this year. /s

But hey, I bet they can pull off a hat trick next year. Hooray gastro explosion.
