You forgot all the left wing ones. You’d also need to ban MSNBC, Vox, the Huffington Post, Buzz Feed, CNN, Vice, ABC, CBS, The Daily Beast, Salon, Newsweek, The New York Times, Slate, The Washington Post, Politico, NBC, The Atlantic, and dozens more.

Or is this not about misinformation, but rather information you like?

There are Nazis on YouTube, Reddit, and Lemmy. Why are you here? You are not automatically associated with Nazis just because they might use a platform. This is like saying veganism is evil because Hitler was a vegan.

They have ads, but I think YouTube pays better. Which I suppose is why creators stick with YouTube for now.

Please re-read my comment. Oppression was a theme, yes, but there were no oppression monologues. Ridiculous cringe like this. Instead, the writers told good stories and didn't rely on beating viewers over the head with ham-fisted messages.

I love it. That works fine but if you want a weekend project consider doing something like this:

Buy a Fractal Define 7XL.

Shuck all those HDDs and put them in the case. Buy one more disk, as large or larger than the largest disk.

Buy 8GB RAM, cheap mobo, cheap Pentium gold CPU, and reasonably reliable power supply. Also buy either a SATA or HBA PCI adapter.

Install unRAID and Plex. Use that extra drive for parity. Now your data is protected if a drive fails. They also won’t get so hot, and speed will be much better. You also have lots of capacity for more drives.

I also didn’t feel preached to, which is the Disney watermark today. Characters were interesting and complex, no matter their sex or skin colour, and not once did we have an oppression/capitalism monologue. Just a good story which everyone could enjoy. Such a rarity for Disney now.

It’s a little tongue in cheek. Kobo has good support for uploading your own ebooks. Z-Library is a user sharing and exchange site with excellent breadth and depth of content, but technically is copyright infringement. The onion site works great.

Just because you don’t feel one strategy has been effective doesn’t mean the opposite will be. That’s five year old logic. I would also argue that peaceful protest has been incredibly successful. In one generation we’ve gone from “climate change doesn’t exist” to an EV being close to the most popular vehicle sold in the world. You might feel it’s not fast enough, but you certainly can’t argue it’s ineffective. I can tell you what’s not working: pissing on supporters and potential supporters. As per the data, it’s making people care less.

I ask again: if you don’t believe convincing people to vote for your cause is the best way forward in a democracy, what is?

Good to see them walk the talk. Zoom, on the other hand, has an identity crisis it needs to reconcile. It’s hard to convince companies they can rely on remote work with video conferencing software if Zoom won’t do it themselves.

I have whiplash watching the left argue that Twitter was a private company so they could censor anyone they liked, then immediately 180 when Musk bought it and decry private ownership and operation of de facto town squares. For the record, I don’t think town squares should be privately owned, but at least I’m consistent. Apparently on the internet ethical beliefs are a shiny coat to put on when it’s convenient.

If you don't realise why killing political support for your cause is bad, by all means, keep doing what you're doing. If you want to affect real change, be nice to the people from whom you want votes. Democracy requires discussion and compromise. Pissing on your allies does the opposite of what you want.

Well said. I suppose we can all be guilty of this, and this is why I try to engage with people of with many different ideological positions. It's not always comfortable to confront out own beliefs and biases, but I do think it makes us more well-rounded.

I have found Kobo and Z-Library to be worth it for sci-fi.

I used to be quite sympathetic but after seeing them blocking ambulances and trying to fuck up the day of people who otherwise agree, I hate them and hope they’re all arrested. And I’m not alone. Support for the climate movement has halved in two years in Germany because of these absolute morons.

While 68 percent of those surveyed in 2021 said they fundamentally supported the climate movement, the figure in the current publication has halved to 34 percent. What is striking is that support has declined significantly in all social groups, even in more progressive milieus that were otherwise more open to the movement.

When asked specifically about the "Last Generation" road blockades, 85 percent of those surveyed said they had no understanding of this form of protest.
