  • Have you considered the universe may actually be a torus instead of a sphere, eg: bagel-verse?

  • Oh man it was so exciting getting a new game and on the way home you just stared at the cool detailed box art and then read through the game guide/info manual and sometimes they even included a sticker or something slipped in behind the manual too

  • Exactly what im thinking.

Is it just that we have in the last few years reached the threshold for large TVs to have come down in price and up in quality for them to be worth the purchase - but also the incentive to get a new tv to have a bigger/higher quality picture isnt worth the upgrade (or just your satisfied with the product you have).
And then factoring in that practically worldwide inflation and cost of living is out of control and people sure can make do without a fancy TV when instead they can have food and pay their rent.

Next article "is streaming dead? We keep putting up prices and consumers are dropping subscriptions!"

  • Its an awkward position but it is possible

  • Thanks a heap, i just switched from Liftoff to Sync last week (when liftoff stopped working) and thought i was just going to have to live with those ads. Much appreciated!

  • I would have said a close race between potato bake & wedges with sour cream & sweet chilli - until i went to Canada, and now i say Poutine.

  • Dude, fuckin do it. Sewing is super simple, they sell patterns where you just cut out the paper template to the clothing size you are making, then you pin it to fabric, trace the outline and cut along those lines, then sew it together along the edges. For basic clothes i think anyone could get it first try with a ten minutes on youtube of how to use a seeing machine. Then you can literally make whatever type of clothes you want, from whatever fabric you can find, super rewarding too.

  • I am dumb. I meant to say 130 but i mixed up 1.5 being a minute and a half... We have come full circle.

  • I have always found it interesting that typing 150 or 90 in the microwave both set it for 1 & ½ minutes.
I reckon its a bit clever that it allows for both people who think in seconds and people who think is minute+seconds.

  • Agreed, i do like that its a little more 'light' but it also doesnt feel quite as professional or readable.

  • It didnt just affect MS Word, at least the programs i use (outlook & excel) changed, and i assume the whole MS office suite.

  • Can we find the pug guy? Theres someone responsible for some animal suffering

  • The pinapple on pizza one is weird to me, do these people not enjoy the idea of contrasting and complimentary flavours?
Savoury + sweet is a good combo and they dont seem to have a problem with tomato on pizza if they are getting technical over 'fruit' being an ingredient.

  • The "sold out" thing bothers me sometimes, yes the ARE bands who come from less popular genres towards more mainstream sound because thats where they found commercial success and wanted/needed that money to keep doing what they do.

But there are also many bands who change genres and sound over time and some bands just enjoy playing that kind of 'radio friendly' music. Personally i feel like nickleback are in the 'we just like this kind of music' category.

(Personally I cant stand nicklebacks genre, so no bias here)

  • Puts on tinfoil hat
What if Israel kept this up their sleeve until they needed a good-favor global support boost in their own war.

  • "I'm glad we could solve your problem. Please rate you experiance with our customer support today"
    Closes support chat window
Klarna: "Customers rate the AI assistant the same as the Human support workers" [all non-responses]

  • Because then if your twin children got into a fight whilst cutting out paper star decorations you would get to say its star craft brood war.
