  • I don't blame the father for not choosing a better target but it would have been great to go Luigi mode instead of just off a retired cop who wont be actively abusing citizens as much as the majority of other cops. He was obviously breaking down and wouldn't have had capacity to plan such a thing but if you are going to potentially end your life in such a way there are more impactful ways to do it

  • The image generator to 3D model to animation pipeline isn't too bad. If you're not a great visual artist, 3D modeler, or animator you can get out pretty decent results on your own that would normally take teams of multiple people dozens of hours after years of training

  • The alternative is that more Ukrainians die which has already destroyed their economy for at least a generation and will only get worse. A country with only elderly people and disabled people won't be a country very long

  • I'll admit, this video particularly stands out to me because it is an honest attempt by a team of professional artists to integrate AI into their workflows, knowing that if they don't, they will be less likely to keep getting work in their industries.

There are certainly many more people using AI with no intention or technical expertise who are a part of ending art workflows that technical artists and other professional have spent years training to do. The industry has already been rough since 2020, finding work is hard without AI replacing jobs.

These production capitalists are choosing lower quality AI amalgamations because they are "good enough" for someone who's intention is primarily making money, and they cost exponentially less than a human. This trend will continue to repress the quality of art by and large, but the technology itself isn't bad and it can offer an opportunity for an independent art rebirth if artists learn to use it for themselves and promote their own works like the music video example. The problem is certainly with capitalism and not the technology in my eyes, but I do think the capitalist use of AI will have an overall harmful effect.

  • when all the Nazi libs in other instances lie about hexbear being evil, this is what they are talking about.

Next time someone asks about hexbear, this absolute clown is going to chime in and say "one time they were defending ISIS! I saw it myself!"

And no one they say that to will go check the post and see that it was indeed the Nazi lib justifying putting women and children in prison for being in proximity to ISIS members. They will believe the Nazi lib and never go to see that hexbear is against imprisoning children and women and it is indeed the Nazi libs from other instances who believe concentration camps are good, actually.
