Probably about the same as regular buildings tbh. If it was normalised I wouldn't bat an eye at it. Having buildings made of something like coral sounds pretty rad tbh

Could have been the butter condensing more towards the bottom of the bowl? Maybe try mixing it up a little bit before scooping out some onto the trays to keep the same consistency in each batch

The proposal is to raise the legal smoking age every year. Meaning each yearly increase, this hypothetical 47yo will also age a year and so will be able to smoke forever

There is C# support in Godot. I'm not sure how many tutorials have been made with it in particular, but I think there's plenty. Plus their docs go over the API differences so shouldn't be hard to use in any case

As typical as it is for the current indie game dev climate, making a 'Vampire Survivors' type game is probably a really good starting point for game development. 2D games are somewhat easier to make than 3D ones, so a 2D roguelike could be fun (but get's very complex very quickly) or a old-school Zelda styled game would also be pretty cool in my opinion while remaining fairly simple.

Here's are a couple other avenues to learn off the top of my head:

• Follow along with one or two of the large amount of tutorials they have for the engine and adding new features and gameplay mechanics to them when you feel like it.
• Think of a cool but simple idea and try to execute it yourself through trial and error, referencing the online docs and asking questions to the Godot game dev community.

It can be super daunting as there is a lot to learn. Try to learn by working on something that you yourself think is fun and that'll keep you more motivated :)

Was feeling alright this morning with a decent amount of energy. Starting exercising again on my work break but my office is not cooling me down enough.

Currently running a program (software dev) that's taking ages to finish so I feel like I'm not putting in enough effort but can't do much about it.

Going to paint some miniatures and play BG3 when I get home which is always good.

Overall I'd say pretty decent and an improvement over my last week :) Just trying to make small improvements to my daily life helps in a big way.

Interesting. I figured with all the fresh anti-nazism immediately after WW2 the US would have made some kind of law against this kind of thing considering just how much people at the time disliked Nazis. Maybe they just thought it wouldn't happen in the US later on? Or the cold war threat made everyone reprioritize perhaps?

I'm speaking and thinking from a historical lense regardless of modern politics if that wasn't clear

Been stuck on the same project for months now and am feeling a bit burnt out on it. I would like a change of pace with another project but also I'm getting close to the end of it. Just need to power through

This is indeed an unpopular opinion!

But I've worked in fast food so I cannot in good conscience agree with it. I have some appreciation for assertive people with legitimate complaints, but "Karen's" as we know them are not that. They tend towards illegitimate and illogical complaints because they seem to feel entitled to get what they want, sometimes regardless of what they specifically asked for.

Nevertheless it's a hospitality workers endless burden to deal with these types. I understand the specific merits of what your post outlines, I just don't like it 🙂

Long time friend turned out to be a sexist pos that was groping my female friends, but would only act this way when I had my back turned. I'm very glad my friends trust me enough to actually tell me what was happening. Am perfectly fine cutting that behaviour out of my life and my social circle.

This is a very dumb article. Like, I understand there's a lot of hype for this game right now but jfc. If anyone is expecting to be able to play this game 17,000 times and expect to see something unique each ending, they've lost their damn mind
