Even at 5 to 7 ( and to teenage years) there are stretching exercises that can be done to loosen the foreskin and completely make the surgery unnecessary (and yes there are rare cases where that doesn't help and surgery is the last resort). I would still say you didn't have consent at 5 or 6. Sorry to hear you got mutilated

This headline is for republican's in denial about their party to feel better about themselves. Those of us who have paid attention to conservatives knew for decades what they really were (I used to tell republicans for years this is what their party is, many used to laugh and handwave telling me I'm silly for thinking what this headline says)

I bought someone a Vitamix once - I was sort of shocked I was able to throw stuff in it, blend it, turn up the speed, and the blended stuff came out hot and consumable as a hot soup. It was easily cleanable, motor is strong, and just consistent and reliable. I suppose I had sticker shock too, but after seeing them in action, I feel it is top end stuff that one would happily pass on to kids, but I don't use a lot of blenders to really compare

Amazing how people don't understand the dynamics of a proxy war with Russia, but let me explain it. Russia wants to invade our allies, and if they attack a NATO country (which they absolutely want to, Ukraine was geographically in their way) it would cost us so much more money and lives. Fighting this proxy war, and defeating Russia, is the the absolutely cheapest and best possible outcome for US interests (i.e. the US is not doing the fighting, it's supply a fraction of what the US was absolutely going to have to spend if Russia was successful).

Now funding Israel's land grab n' genocide is a whole other thing, just as us funding the house of Saud (the guys who have spare billions laying around to bride presidents...).

You will never get enough people to join in, for various reasons, but I think a big reason is the big money won with media propaganda and influence, and misinformation is just going to get worse.

Look how well occupy wall street went, BLM protests went, look at the current state of anti-Isreal genocide protests are going (people literally cheering for the genocide of kids, and they don't wanna hear anything about it).

2 things - security is very hard, and these companies are not the prison keepers. The kid himself must really be pissing everyone off around him and digging his own hole. Plenty of examples of cyber criminals in the prison system, but the biggest asshole seems to somehow have gotten himself locked up indefinitely

Having been studying what this guy and his group were doing, I doubt he is capable of doing anything for the good of society. This guy was a major asshole

Only problem is these lapsus$ kids were Giant, GIANT fucking assholes - taunting people in slack, fucking with employees, deleting shit just for laughs, etc - they were trolls with real maliciousness. The kind of shit 4chan would be really proud of. I'm not saying lock the guy up for life though, but they were all absolutely horrible and the damage they did was really stupid (for example they would ransomware someone's data, then not decrypt it after the ransom was paid - even other criminal cyber gangs didn't like them lol). They are probably the worst lulz group in recent memory

My ultimate gaming achievement was beating Pulstar on one quarter in the arcade (although it wasn't really fair, I had a neogeo cabinet at home with Pulstar and I played it for hours everyday for weeks). Still, this is an accomplishment that no one I know has matched

You are not taking into account china can lock down shipping from it's neighborhood of SE Asia and India, and last I looked into it, Taiwan produced a staggering number of chips compared to every other chip producer combined - last I checked TSMC was still producing over 90% of the worlds chips (and I checked a few weeks ago)

It would be bad for everyone. Not just in military casualties - from my shit analysis it would bring the world to a halt with chip manufacturing, all the good in the western world are made in China and Asia. Just thinking about what I know makes my head hurt

I will totally agree with you it all does come down to money, but I feel Apple/Tim Cook is still principled in this regard - he has made a stand that the customer is not the product, and the investors/share holders appear to respect this boundary so far. All that is needed is a shithead CEO to come in and squeeze every cent, which at that point might very well be to monetize users like Google. Anything can change tomorrow.

Btw I'm a hobbyist security researcher, and the more I study Apple/iOS/MacOS, the more impressed I am. I don't actually have any apple devices, but I'm really starting to consider it
