There is absolutely a food safety reason to replace a sponge. Most bacteria don't just die when they're in dry nutrient poor environments. They desiccate themselves into a spore form. Those spores can stay like that for very long periods of time until their environment becomes more wet. Then they can continue their lifecycle until they dry out again. Dry doesn't mean sterile.
A good book to pair with 1984 is A Brave New World. They both tackle forms of control but from two different approaches. In A Brave New World there's no need for thought police. Every person is designed and crafted from conception to adulthood to never have a criminal thought.
Beetlejuice wouldn't understand, he's a used car salesman and a bad one at that. He would probably offer under the current market value though. Not even he's that crazy. Ultimately he's in it for the game, not the prize.
More likely than not in my opinion. The depth-of-field is really weird and the background looks like it was generated out of focus rather than authenticly. If you look at the parts of the photo that are in sharp detail there should be a box where things are in focus and things aren't. In this photo that box is curvey, which would be difficult to do in-camera. That suggests at least some level of digital manipulation. Whether that's just touch ups, image compression or outright ai generation I can't answer.
My first job right out of college I was writing assembly for some epically old industrial equipment. That shit runs on its own language that was only ever used on that piece of equipment. Usually x86 but with some wacky modifications. There's no compiler for that, just a manual the size of a textbook and a million chicken scratch notes in it that's half covered in grease. I'm so glad I don't do that anymore.
He brings in an enormous amount of money for the team and league. Make enough money and you can treat whoever you want, however you want. It's not morally right, but it's true.
I have the best Jewish friends. They're not strict Jewish, they adapt a lot of the traditions to suit themselves. For example any of the food heavy holiday's they invite their non-Jewish friends over but do most of the religious stuff before we show up. So for me, I get to visit with friends, eat pretty good food (I've learned what to avoid like the unleavened bread), and help them celebrate something that's important to them. They make no expectation for us to actually participate, just respect that they are. It's a good time.
I feel for their kids though, they have to do the 10 hour thing.
Adding to that, Stanley Tumblers have become the latest status symbol for children as well as adults. So it's not uncommon for a child to get bullied because their water bottle isn't a Stanley Tumbler.
Tories nowadays is typically used to describe a party which supports the establishment the most. So in the United Kingdom's the Tories typically support the Crown the most. In Commonwealth countries the Tories are usually synonymous with right-wing parties who are typically the most nationalist. However in many Commonwealth countries the right-wing is often more left leaning than the American left. This is of course trying to describe a wide array of political beliefs in broad strokes so I may be accurate but I'm sure as hell not precise.
